Hays Lindsley is Head of Private Investing and a Portfolio Manager at the firm.
Hays has been working for the Perot family since 1986. He worked for eight years with Hillwood Development Corporation, the Perot's real estate development company. In 1994, Hays transitioned into Perot Investments. Hays has served as the Head of Private Investing since 1996.
Prior to joining the Perot family, Hays practiced tax law with Jenkens and Gilchrist in Dallas.
Hays graduated from The University of Texas with a JD/MBA and received his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University.
Hays enjoys cooking, shooting, photography, cycling and audio books.

Ladenia is responsible for the daily investment settlement processing for Perot, including trade settlements, wire processing and instrument and trade entry into the investment accounting system. She works closely with our custodial banks and prime broker.
Ladenia joined the firm in 1985. Prior to joining the investment team, she worked in the accounting group for the Perot family performing all accounts payable and accounts receivable operations.

Phil Raymond serves as Vice President of Petrus Aviation at the frim.
Outside of work, Phil and his wife can often be found rooting on their son performing in his high school marching band and cheering for their daughter and her horse Tommy at equestrian competitions. Phil also enjoys playing the drums, listening to music and exercising.

Stephen Russell serves in investment origination and business development at the firm.
In his current role, Stephen is responsible for the origination, analysis, negotiation, and structuring of opportunities across all investment strategies.
Prior to joining Perot in 2022, Stephen worked in the Financial Sponsors and Leveraged Finance group at UBS in New York. Before starting his career in finance, Stephen served as an officer in the US Navy SEAL Teams for seven years with several combat deployments around the globe.
Philanthropically, Stephen is very active with nonprofits that support the SEAL community.
Stephen is a distinguished graduate of the Virginia Military Institute and received his MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
In his spare time, Stephen enjoys traveling, skiing, hunting, flyfishing and anything on or near the water.
In his current role at Perot, Val primarily focuses on finding and analyzing high-quality companies with the goal of compounding capital over time. Additionally, Val serves as a Board member for Incline Resources, a privately held energy company and is responsible for risk and portfolio analysis.
Prior to joining Perot in 2012, Val spent four years at Tinicum Capital and two years at Merrill Lynch in New York. As an investment professional at Tinicum, Val worked on both private and public transactions focusing primarily on the industrial and aerospace sectors. As an investment banking analyst at Merrill Lynch, Val evaluated mergers and acquisitions across a variety of industries including materials, consumer, technology, energy & power and others.
Originally from Romania, Val graduated from Amherst College in Massachusetts with a BA in Math, Computer Science and Economics. While at Amherst, Val was a member of the varsity soccer team. Val also holds an MBA from The University of Texas, McCombs School of Business in Austin and is a CFA Charterholder.
In his spare time, Val enjoys soccer, snowboarding, fitness and everything outdoors.
