Ashley qualified as a solicitor in 2015 and has an extensive background in all aspects of conveyancing. Ashley joined Lightfoots in 2024 as part of our growing Lender Finance team. The main aspects of work involve remortgages, purchases, sales, new builds as well as dual and separate representation matters.

Charlotte joined Lightfoots as a Litigation Assistant in October 2019 and became a Paralegal in the Family team in August 2020. Charlotte became a Trainee Solicitor in September 2021, and has undertaken seats in Family and Private Client as part of her training. Charlotte qualified as a Solicitor in 2023 and is in our Employment Law team.
Prior to joining Lightfoots Charlotte completed her LLB in Bristol. Post-graduation she went on to complete the Legal Practice Course and a Masters with the University of Law, receiving a Distinction in 2018. She gained considerable experience volunteering with Citizens Advice, assisting clients with a range of legal problems, all of which provided her with vital experience in client relations which has helped her in her current role.

Courtney joined Lightfoots in 2019 where she worked as an administrative assistant in our Lender Finance department. Whilst working within the Lender Finance department, Courtney helped with administrative tasks such as setting up new instruction files and being the first point of contact for clients and assist fee earners where needed.
In March 2023, Courtney moved to the Commercial Litigation department within Lightfoots and started working as a Paralegal. Due to the nature of the role, Courtney has a wide exposure to both litigious and receiver sales matters. Some of the primary duties include (but are not limited to): assisting with the preparation of court bundles and liaising with the Courts in respect of ongoing applications; assisting with the collation of legal packs for properties being sold in receivership; taking conduct of redemptions; and assisting with the day-to-day administration tasks of the fee earners.

Elise is a Senior Conveyancing Assistant in the Lender Finance team. Elise joined Lightfoots in 2017 after gaining over 8 years experience working in residential conveyancing. Elise works with a number of our mortgage lender clients in respect of buy-to-let transactions and bridging loans, as well as dealing with sales, purchases, transfers of equities and remortgages of residential properties.
Elise is currently studying to be a Licenced Conveyancer.

Elliot joined Lightfoots in 2023 with a wealth of experience spanning over 13 years focussing primarily on banking and financial services litigation. He has experience in both claimant and defendant litigation and often advises on high value and complex matters within the High Court including mis-selling claims, misrepresentation claims and claims for breach of contract and breach of mandate.
Elliot now specialises in the appointment and advising of Receivers as well as conducting complex Receiver and Lender litigation and possession claims and is relied upon by clients to think strategically and commercially in order to obtain the best and most cost-effective outcome.

Farzana is a solicitor in the Commercial Litigation department and has over 12 years banking litigation experience acting for various banks, lenders and financial institutions. She qualified as a Solicitor in 2018.

Gabrielle joined Lightfoots in January 2023 and works as a Paralegal within the litigation team, specialising in banking and finance. Prior to this, she graduated with a Law LLB Honours degree from St Mary's University and completed the Legal Practice Course and Master of Laws at The University of Law. Gabrielle previously gained experience working within corporate and commercial sectors, involving aspects of dispute resolution and contractual agreements.
Gabrielle works alongside fee earners and takes a dependable whilst proactive approach within all aspects of her work. Since joining, she has specialised within unregulated mortgage litigation and receiverships which includes lender possession, trespass, section 8, section 21 proceedings and advising on security documents. On the wider sphere cases involve pursuing money judgments and insolvency.
Gabrielle has added to her knowledge of banking and debt finance, mergers and acquisitions and intellectual property though her studies and previous involvement with cases.

Gaye leads our Reception team in Lightfoots Head Office on Thame High Street. Gaye has been with Lightfoots since 2008 and with her detailed knowledge of the firm she is often the first point of contact for Lightfoots clients.

Gemma joined Lightfoots in 2021 and is a Paralegal in our Mortgage Litigation team. She works alongside fee earners in the Mortgage Litigation department and assists in commercial litigation cases, attending to clients and drafting documents.
Prior to joining Lightfoots, Gemma completed her LLB at Queen Mary University and graduated in July 2021 with First Class Honours.

Glenn has over 20 years' experience as a corporate and commercial law partner in legal firms based in Leeds and, subsequently, more locally in the South-East.
He has considerable experience in most non-contentious corporate and commercial matters including, in particular, private company and business sales and acquisitions, MBO's/MBI's, corporate structuring and restructuring, private company investments (including SEIS and EIS), executive and employee share options and incentive plans, joint ventures, sports law and IP. Clients have ranged from Premier League football clubs to small owner-managed businesses, and client transactions from $200m company sales to £1 new company start-ups.
Glenn joined Lightfoots as a consultant in 2021.

Hassan is a Conveyancing Assistant in the Lender Finance team at Lightfoots. Hassan joined Lightfoots in 2019 and works with the firm's mortgage lender clients on both separate representation and dual representation matters. He assists clients with bridging finance purchases and refinancing of residential property, and also deals with redemption of the lender's charges, Consent to Leases and Part Releases.
Hassan completed his undergraduate Law degree at Middlesex University and his Legal Practise Course at University of West London.

Hayley joined Lightfoots in March 2022 as Head of Human Resources. She has worked in various roles as a Human Resources professional across Professional Services and Hospitality Sectors and has worked most recently as a HR Consultant.
Hayley is CIPD qualified with a background in TUPE consultation, change management programmes and Employee Relations.

Jenny is the Head of Marketing at Lightfoots Solicitors, responsible for brand, marketing, communications and business development across the firm. Jenny has over 18 years experience in professional services marketing. She works closely with the Partners to ensure that the marketing strategies align to the firm's strategic goals and vision.
Prior to joining Lightfoots, Jenny worked as a Senior Marketer in some of London's leading law and corporate real estate firms, and more recently ran her own Marketing Consultancy business. She joined Lightfoots in 2020.

Joe joined Lightfoots as a trainee solicitor in 1999, qualified as a Solicitor in 2001 and he became a Partner in 2003. He has considerable experience in domestic conveyancing and complex property matters, undertaking high value residential transactions, all forms of commercial property work and general business law. Joe acts for both landlords and tenants in leasehold transactions including residential lease extensions and the grant of commercial leases. He also has experience in company asset and share sales and purchases.

Kate joined Lightfoots in 2024 after qualifying as a solicitor in 2009 and spending 18 years honing her legal skills as a paralegal, trainee solicitor, solicitor and partner of a well-established and reputed firm in Maidenhead, Berkshire. Kate's experience is varied and covers general litigation, commercial property transactional work and property-based litigation and she has acted for both private individuals and commercial clients throughout West London and the Thames Valley across each of these areas.

Kiara joined Lightfoots in 2021 after previously working as a Paralegal in a small Residential Conveyancing firm. She graduated from St Mary's University in the height of the pandemic with a First Class LLB with Honours and has more recently graduated from the University of Law with her LPC in the summer of 2023.
As of January 2024, Kiara has moved to a Conveyancing Assistant role within the Lender Finance team, after 2+ years working as a Paralegal in the same department. Kiara works with the firm's lender clients on both separate and dual representation matters. She assists with residential and buy to let purchases as well as re-mortgages, whilst also still dealing with post completion matters including (but not limited to) Consent to Leases, Consent to Easements and Redemptions.

Lauren joined Lightfoots in 2018 as a regulatory specialist to head up the Ethics and Compliance Department, responsible for ensuring firm-wide compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, keeping up with the firm's numerous accreditations, as well as embedding the ethics of the firm. She additionally trained in litigation, employment, and lender finance, and qualified as a Solicitor in 2022.
Prior to joining Lightfoots, Lauren worked in conveyancing, debt recovery/insolvency, and global anti-corruption.
Lauren is now playing a key part in the firm's digitalisation; her specialisms include anti-money laundering compliance, anti-corruption/Bribery Act, GDPR, FCA and SRA regulation, and is looking forward to offering unique services to clients in these areas.

Lauren joined Lightfoots Solicitors in October 2021 as a Paralegal and became a Trainee Solicitor in 2023. Lauren's first seat was in the Family Law department; she is currently undertaking her second seat in Mortgage litigation where she will remain until September 2024.
During her time at Lightfoots Lauren has worked alongside fee earners in the Mortgage Litigation Department assisting in Commercial and Corporate Litigation cases and attending to clients' instructions relating to issuing proceedings and enforcement.
Throughout Lauren's first seat in the Family Law Department, she assisted fee earners in Divorce, Child, and Finance proceedings and often attended Court hearings to assist in the matter.
Lauren graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2019 achieving an LLB Degree and undertook the Legal Practice Course and Masters of Law at The University of Law, gaining knowledge and insight into litigation.

As the Head of IT Mark has overall responsibility for the running of the IT team and wider department along with all the technology platforms used at Lightfoots. Mark has a keen interest in all areas of IT which has sustained a career of over 20 years in varying roles.
Mark gets a great deal of satisfaction in his role here at Lightfoots through both the technical challenges that arise and a good deal of interaction with staff on support issues and project delivery. Mark joined Lightfoots working on the helpdesk which allowed him to gain in-depth knowledge of the infrastructure prior to becoming the Manager.

After obtaining her LLB, Petrova went on to complete a Masters in Law at University College London before undertaking her Legal Practice Course. She qualified as a Solicitor in 2007 and on qualification was approached to join a leading Thames Valley firm where she remained for five years, this was followed by a period of time with an award winning London firm. After a brief spell out of law enabling her to diversify her knowledge, skill set and gain valuable experience in other areas of industry, as well as developing her transferrable skills she was delighted to return to family law in 2016 as part of the Family Department at Lightfoots. She has built up considerable experience advising and assisting people following the breakdown of a relationship, whether this be to deal with divorce, finances or children. She advises in all areas of family law, including in preparation for marriage, and is praised by former clients for her "excellent" advice, allowing them to feel confident in their rights and responsibilities and that their "case has been very safe in [her] hands". In 2018 she qualified as a Mediator, providing her with further skills to assist those instructed by her. Petrova became a Partner in 2021.
As a member of Resolution she is committed to adopting a non-confrontational approach, and this is confirmed by client feedback " I needed a constructive, non-confrontational, but firm approach - which she was". She is ranked by leading legal directories Chambers and Partners and Legal 500.
