Anna Jermyn

Job Titles:
  • a Student Veterinary Nurse
Anna joined Moray Coast Vet Group as a student veterinary nurse in August 2015. She studied at North Highland College in Thurso, qualifying in May 2018. Anna is a qualified clinical coach, helping to train student veterinary nurses. Her main interests include radiology, weight & puppy clinics. Outside of work Anna enjoys spending time with her partner Tony, walking their rescue Staffie cross Sandy, novelty cake decorating and singing.

Jamie McLaren

Jamie joined the practice in 2005, having previously worked in mixed practice in the south of Scotland and spent time working in Australia and New Zealand. In 2011, he became a director of the practice. He is involved in both farm and companion animal sides of the practice and enjoys the variety this provides to his working life. Jamie lives in Cawdor with his wife, a local girl Marsaili, and their two children Robbie and Rhona. Outside of work Jamie enjoys running with his dog Coco. He is also involved in coaching kids rugby and football teams in the local community.

John Donald

John is the Managing Director of Moray Coast Vet Group and is the last remaining partner of the original Duncan Masson Robertson partnership. He qualified from Glasgow University Vet School in 1988 and after working in Staffordshire for Eddie Straiton (the original TV vet), he joined Walter, Arthur and John in 1990.After a years sabbatical in Dairy practice in New Zealand, John returned to Nairn to join the business in 1996. He lives in Nairn with his wife Ruathy and three young children Katie, Struan and Murray. He is heavily involved with all aspects of running the practice but his passion really lies in doing clinical work. His time is divided between large animal work and increasingly with the companion animal side of the practice. His interests are in all aspects of medicine and surgery but mainly soft tissue surgery. When he's not spending time with his family his main interests are golf, running and playing the accordion. He can be contacted mainly at the Nairn surgery.
