Ali joined Rathbones in April 2016 and was appointed company secretary in May 2016. Ali graduated in Law and is a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.

Andy joined the firm in April 2020 as Chief Operating Officer and is accountable for operations, change, technology and facilities. He began his career in the British Army and having left in 2004 completed an MBA at Edinburgh University.
Andy has worked at BSkyB, O2 Telefonica, Barclays Wealth and Aberdeen Standard Capital, prior to joining Rathbones. Over his career he has held senior roles focusing on client service, operations, technology and change. Andy's last role before joining Rathbones was chief operating officer at Aberdeen Standard Capital, part of Standard Life Aberdeen.

Arron is the associate sales director at Rathbones, responsible for the South of England. He joined Rathbones in July 2018, having spent over three years as a regional sales manager for Liontrust. Arron brings over 12 years' industry experience, having also worked at Kames Capital and Transact in a variety of client-focused roles.

Ben is the head of regional sales (UK), with responsibility for the Rathbones distribution team covering intermediaries in the UK & Ireland. Ben joined the business in 2013 as a regional sales director, responsible for client relationships and strategy within the South West, Channel Islands, Midlands and Wales. Prior to joining Rathbones, Ben was a regional sales manager at AXA Investment Managers covering a similar geographical region mainly focused on the IFA marketplace.

Brian is associate sales director for Scotland & Northern Ireland. He is responsible for growing the Rathbone footprint in the area via deeper relationships with the financial adviser community as well as discretionary fund managers. He joined Rathbones in March 2016, having spent three years with Old Mutual Global Investors. Previously he spent 10 years with Prudential Plc.

Chris joined Rathbones as part of the transaction involving the Jupiter Private Clients and Charities team and was an integral part of launching the Rathbones International business in 2014. Chris is responsible for identifying and developing business relationships with Financial Intermediaries Internationally.

Clive was appointed as chair on 12 January 2021.
He started his career as a banker at First National Bank of Boston in 1981 in Boston and London, and in 1984, he joined Booz Allen & Hamilton as an associate and became a partner in the financial consulting practice in 1990.
In 1994, Clive joined HSBC Investment Bank as Director and Head of Planning and Strategy in London with a remit to help with the integration of part of James Capel. He moved to New York in 1996 to be the deputy CEO of HSBC Inc and Head of Investment Banking in the US. In 1999, he was appointed Chief Executive of HSBC Group Private Banking and subsequently became Group General Manager in July 2001, and Group Managing Director in 2006 on the Executive Committee, of Group Insurance and Asset Management at HSBC Holdings Plc. In 2011, Clive was recruited as group CEO of the Phoenix Group, the UK's largest life and pensions consolidator. During his time at Phoenix Group, a series of successful acquisitions were made, including AXA Wealth, Sun Life, Standard Life Assurance and the acquisition of ReAssurance from Swiss Re. Clive is currently a chairman of the Museum of London.

David is a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. He joined Rathbones in April 2016 from the multi-family office Stonehage Fleming. David began his financial planning career in 2004 and over that time has provided effective counsel to a varied portfolio of wealthy individuals and families. He has a large professional network and works hard to ensure his clients receive the best possible outcomes and ongoing service.
David has been recognised as one the UK's leading HNW Wealth Managers in the Spear's 500, is highlighted on the Citywealth Leaders List and earlier in his career was named in Private Client Practitioner's Top 35 under 35 on three occasions. He was awarded the inaugural Spear's ‘young turk' Wealth Manager of the Year title in 2012.

He is currently a board member of The British Business Bank, Halma plc, BBC Commercial Holdings, Blow Ltd and The Premier League.
Dharmash started his career with Procter and Gamble on their graduate programme and then went on to become a brand manager, followed by a period with Boston Consulting Group. He spent eight years in the media as Group Managing Director of EMAP Consumer Media and EMAP Performance.
Dharmash is an experienced technology venture capitalist, entrepreneur and non-executive director. He was formerly a Partner at Balderton and Lakestar, leading investments including Revolut, Glovo, Infarm, Blockchain.com and Lovefilm amongst others. Prior to this he was Group MD of Emap Consumer Media, where he co-led the delisting of Emap PLC from the FTSE 100. His prior board NED positions include: BBC Executive Board, Hargreaves Lansdown PLC and Dixons Retail PLC.

Gaynor joined Rathbones in May 2021 as Chief People Officer.
With over 30 years' experience, Gaynor joined from BNP Paribas UK where she led a team of 21 and was responsible for all aspects of people management, performance, culture, talent and engagement. Previous roles include Group HR Director at Tilney Group where she led the people agenda for a business with 30 offices UK-wide, spanning 3 brands, prior to which she was a People and Corporate Development Director at Capital and Regional Plc, taking on leadership responsibility and supporting the Chairman and the CEO in restructuring the organisation.

Gerry is a business development director and is a key point of contact for financial advisers in the North of England. He specialises in discretionary fund management and multi-asset investment solutions for the financial adviser market. He joined Rathbones in 1993 and spent the first 23 years of his career working in Operations. In 2016, Gerry moved into a business development role and became a Key Account Manager working with a national strategic partner. In 2019, he became a DFM specialist responsible for developing relationships with all financial advisers in the region.

Henrietta Baldock was appointed as a non-executive director on 21 September 2023.
Henrietta has extensive knowledge of the financial services sector, through her 25 years' experience in investment banking, most recently as Chair of the European Financial Institutions team at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where she advised many boards on a number of significant transactions. In 2021, she was appointed Chair of Investec Wealth & Investment (UK). Henrietta's industry experience demonstrates her valuable strategic and transformation advisory skills.

Iain was appointed as non-executive director on 5 October 2021.
Iain is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales with over 35 years of experience working in the financial sector.
He was a partner at KPMG for over 24 years working with banks and other major financial services firms in both audit and advisory roles including three years leading KPMG's banking audit practice. His audit roles included large firms in the investment banking sector and listed firms in the wealth, asset management and insurance sectors while his advisory engagements focused on aspects of risk, regulation and internal audit.
He also served for a number of years as Chairman if the ICAEW Financial Services Faculty's Risk and Regulation Committee and as a member of the ICAEW's Technical Strategy Board.

Ian joined Rathbones in 2016 as Head of Rathbones Private Office with a focus on serving larger high net worth clients including entrepreneurs, families and successful individuals looking for tailored investment management services. In July 2019 he was appointed to a wider role of Head of Client Development with responsibility for delivering the optimal Rathbones investment solutions to our clients including portfolio management, financial planning, trusts and international services. Following our merger with Investec wealth management, he has in addition been asked to lead the Strategic partnership with Investec bank offering their lending solutions to our wealth management clients and our investment solutions to the Bank's clients.
Prior to joining Rathbones, he was head of UK domestic private banking at Credit Suisse and head of UK ultra high net worth clients at UBS. He is level 6 PCIAM qualified and studied modern history at Queen's College Oxford University.

Ivo is responsible for the RIM client facing, Investment Research and Investment Risk teams. Ivo joined Rathbones after graduating from Edinburgh University in 1991 and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. He founded the charity team in London and managed portfolios as an investment manager for almost 30 years. He was appointed to Rathbones Investment Management Committee in 2006 and joined the Group Executive Committee in July 2015.

Jake joined Rathbones in 2020. Jake started his career in finance at Lombard Street Research before moving into the private client investment world with Border Asset Management in Cumbria. He joined Rathbones after 7 years working for Aberdeen Standard Capital (formerly Standard Life Wealth) following the acquisition of Newton Investment Management's private client arm in 2013.

Jayne Rogers is executive chair of Rathbones Asset Management Ltd (RAM) and Chief Distribution Officer of Rathbones Group. Jayne works closely with RAM's chief executive Tom Carroll to oversee the growth of the funds and intermediary businesses, as well as developing and delivering a distribution strategy for the wealth management business. Jayne previously worked for Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM), where she was latterly EMEA head of strategic initiatives. At MSIM she had oversight of strategy, regulation and governance. She chaired the Regulatory Committee and co-chaired the Operating Committee. She also led the integration of strategic mergers and acquisitions. Prior to this, Jayne was head of institutional business, Hong Kong and ASEAN for Robeco Asset Management where she built its institutional distribution across the region. She has also worked for KPMG Investment Advisory, as head of fund manager research, Mercer Investment Consulting, The Wellcome Trust and Adam & Company.

Jennifer was appointed to the board on 1 April 2019.
Jennifer began her career on the Lloyds TSB Finance graduate scheme following her graduation in 1995 and qualified as a chartered management accountant in 1999. At Lloyds, Jennifer held a number of senior management roles and worked closely with the board-level team of the Lloyds TSB Group, and was a member of the Corporate Banking and Wholesale Finance Executive Committees. In addition to her position as a finance director of Corporate Banking, Jennifer spent three years as head of Credit Risk and Compliance for the Commercial Banking division of Lloyds TSB. In 2012, she joined Coutts as the global chief finance officer, and in 2015, she moved to EFG Private Bank (UK), where she was chief finance officer and deputy chief executive officer.

As Interim Chief Client Officer, Martin leads the team responsible for proposition development, client insight, marketing and communications. He has over 30 years experience in financial services marketing , having spent 19 years at Barclays and subsequent marketing and brand strategy leadership appointments with Merrill Lynch, BlackRock, Standard Life Investments and UBS.
Martin has also acted as an independent marketing consultant, and in a previous engagement at Rathbones in 2021 led a functional and capability review that created the Client Office team.
Martin is a graduate of the University of Nottingham, has a MA in Marketing from Kingston University and is a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Marketing. He joined the Group Executive Committee in June 2023.

Matthew joined Rathbones in 2021 to spearhead the client development activities across the South and South West of England. He has responsibility for delivering the wide range of Rathbones services to our clients and is leading the development and management of intermediary relationships across the region.
Matthew started his career in the British Army, before joining Reuters Ltd in London and then Asia. Whilst in Asia, Matthew moved into banking, working for Credit Agricole and subsequently BNP Paribas Equities and Derivatives, returning to London with BNPP. He went on to build an ETF business at Rabobank, before joining Credit Suisse Private Banking in London, where he led the business development team.

Melanie joined Rathbones in 2014 after spending the previous seven years at Jupiter. Prior to that, she was at Baring Asset Management, Deutsche Morgan Grenfell and EY. She gained international experience working for HSBC in Hong Kong, San Francisco and Mumbai. Melanie is a Chartered Accountant, has a degree in Systems and Management from City University, London and is a Chartered Member of the CISI. She is both a trustee and member of the Investment Committee for the Francis C Scott Charitable Trust that commits over £1m a year to areas of deprivation in Cumbria and North Lancashire. Melanie is also a member of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Accountants.

Michael is the Equity Investment specialist working across the four Rathbones equity strategies. He joined Rathbones in October 2016 and brings 13 years of financial services experience. Michael previously worked as a specialist on the sales team focused on Rathbones ethical and sustainable products and services. Prior to working for Rathbones Michael spent three years at Octopus Investments as a VCT specialist.
Michael holds the: IMC, IMD, CFA: ESG Investing, CISI Sustainable and Responsible investment certificate and the Cambridge institute of sustainable leadership: Sustainable Finance certificate.

Nicholas is an associate director and is a key point of contact for IFAs, brokers and DFM clients. He focuses on London and the Isle of Man.
Before joining Rathbones in March 2012, Nicholas worked within Baker Tilly's Mergers' and Acquisitions team and Datamonitor's Financial Services.
Nicholas holds a BSc (Hons) in Business Administration from the University of Bath. He holds the Investment Management Certificate, and is a candidate for the CFA.

Oliver joined the Private Office of Rathbones in 2019 as a client director. His main priority is to help families, entrepreneurs, senior corporate executives and professionals manage all aspects of their wealth.
Oliver now additionally heads the Strategic Partnership Team which has a focus on delivering the services of Rathbones to the clients of Investec.
Prior to joining Rathbones, Oliver was a private wealth advisor at Goldman Sachs where his responsibility was both to bring in new business and to manage the investments of UHNW clients.
Oliver started his career in the Royal Navy and after numerous operational deployments, he had the privilege of being the first Navigating Officer of the Navy's newest Destroyer, HMS Defender.

Paul was appointed chief executive in May 2019, having served as managing director of Rathbones Investment Management from May 2018. He was previously group finance director from 2008 to April 2019.
Paul qualified as a chartered accountant with PriceWaterhouse in 1992, subsequently taking up a position in New York before returning to London in 1996. In 1999 he joined Old Mutual Plc as group financial controller, becoming director of finance of Gerrard Limited in 2001. In 2005, two years after the sale of Gerrard, he left to work initially for Euroclear and, subsequently, as a divisional finance director of the Phoenix Group. He was formerly a non-executive director of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

Phil is the deputy managing director of Rathbones Investment Management International. He manages a range of private client, trust and charity portfolios and sits on both Jersey and Group Investment Committees at Rathbones. Phil is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) and holds the Investment Management Certificate (IIMR).
He joined Rathbones from Close International Asset Management, where he was the lead investment manager responsible for managing Close's multi-award winning All Weather Fund. Phil has worked in the finance industry for 37 years, both in Jersey and the United Kingdom; and he has extensive private and investment banking experience, having also worked previously at SG Hambros and NatWest Bank.

Bob is an investment director having joined Rathbones in October 2000. Robert joined Rathbones in 2014 as an investment director. He started his investment career over 20 years ago at Coutts & Co as a portfolio manager in their investment department after graduating from Newcastle University with a degree in Economics and Business Management in 1994.
After gaining his investment qualifications at Coutts he then moved to the Private Client division of Invesco Perpetual as investment director and was responsible for the integration of Perpetual's Private Client division, focussing on the management of both UK and international private client portfolios. In 2004, Invesco Perpetual sold their Private Client division to Singer & Friedlander and, in 2008, Robert joined Jupiter Asset Management with the same team of individuals he has worked with since 1995.
Finally, Jupiter sold their Private Client division to Rathbones in 2014, where Robert retains his specialism of managing investment portfolios for high net worth individuals, trusts, charities and pension funds, both in the UK and for international "ex-pats" by working in partnership with specialist financial advisors in Europe. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Securities Institute.

Rosie is a Senior Investment Sales Executive for London, working alongside Nicholas Elliot and Jake Lewis. She focuses on building relationships with Financial Advisors and Discretionary Fund Managers as well as developing relationships with the third-party market, including fund platforms, wraps, and life companies.
Rosie joined Rathbones in July 2008, having graduated with a BA Hons from Sussex University.

Rupert joined Rathbone Investment Management as an Investment Director in 2000 and became Managing Director in February 2021. Rupert has over 39 years' experience in the wealth management sector, attending to the needs of individuals, trusts and pension schemes.

Ruth Leas was appointed as a non-executive director on 21 September 2023.
Ruth Leas has been with Investec for 25 years. In 2019, Ruth was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Investec Bank plc, the main banking subsidiary of Investec plc, which houses Investec Group's non-Southern African operations (including the UK, Channel Islands, Ireland, US and India). Ruth has deep knowledge of Investec and banking having joined Investec in South Africa in 1998. She moved to Investec in London in 2002 and has had varied experience, with her first 10 years in client facing roles. Ruth became Co-Head of US Principal Finance before joining the Credit team and later becoming Head of UK Investor Relations. She was appointed as an Executive Director in 2016 and was head of risk management before becoming Chief Risk Officer in 2017. Prior to joining Investec, Ruth was the Treasury Economist for Gencor in South Africa. Ruth currently sits on the Cambridge Judge Business School Advisory Board and has sat on the UK Finance Board.

Sarah was appointed as a non-executive director in 2015 and chair of the Remuneration Committee in June 2017. She was appointed as a designated non-executive director for our workforce engagement in 2019 along with Colin Clark.
She started her career as a consultant at McKinsey and Company and then worked for several years in the telecoms and digital sectors, latterly as chief financial officer of the LCR Telecom Group. In 1999, she joined the internet bank Egg, the internet banking subsidiary of Prudential, where she was responsible for business development and strategy. In 2005, she joined Sanford C. Bernstein and Co, the institutional research and trading arm of Alliance Bernstein, as a banking analyst covering the European banking sector. Sarah is an adviser to early-stage technology companies, and non-executive director of Engine B Ltd.

Sarah is Chief Risk Officer and joined Rathbones in March 2015. She worked for NatWest and RBS group for over 30 years, including 13 years at Coutts.
Sarah's career turned to risk management in the 1990s and she worked in Switzerland for three years as the chief risk officer for Coutts' international private banking business. She moved to the Non Core division of RBS in 2010 and most recently provided risk oversight of RBS' transformation programme.
Sarah has an MBA with a dissertation on operational risk management and she is a member of the Institute of Risk Management. She joined the Group Executive Committee in July 2015.

Shelly manages the Investor Relations function at Rathbones Group Plc. She started her career in Toronto working for TD Securities before moving to the UK to join the London Stock Exchange where she held various roles that allowed her to build her experience of listing rules and annual Plc practices. She then joined the Investor Relations practice of Citigate Dewe Rogerson where she worked with a number of large UK and European listed clients across a range of industries executing their investor relations programmes.
Shelly holds a MSc in Managerial Economics and Strategy from the London School of Economics and a BA from The Richard Ivey School of Business.

Sophie is responsible for internal communications at Rathbones Group plc and media relations for Rathbone Investment Management. With a PR agency background, she has also worked in-house at global organisations including Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, White & Case and Alstom. Terri was appointed as a non-executive director in July 2018 and is chair of the risk committee.
Terri graduated with a Maths degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She is currently a non-executive director on the board of Morgan Stanley International where she chairs the risk committee and is also chair of Morgan Stanley Investment Management Limited. Terri is also a non-executive director Hanover Investors Ltd and, an Associate Fellow at The Saïd Business School at Oxford University and on the MIT Corporation Visiting Committee. Previously, Terri sat on the boards of CHAPS Co and UK Operation Smile and was a founding member of the Women's Leadership Group for the Prince's Trust. As an executive, Terri held a number of senior roles at JP Morgan and ABN AMRO before setting up her own consultancy firm.

Tim is an investment director with 27 years' experience of managing private client investment portfolios. He joined Rathbones in August 2000 having previously worked at Kleinwort Benson Private Wealth Management where he also had responsibility for researching the pharmaceuticals and telecoms sectors.
He manages discretionary private client investment portfolios, together with a number of charities, personal pension schemes and bespoke unit trusts/OEICs for large family groups, often within complex trust structures.
Tim is a member of the Rathbones Investment Executive Committee which has responsibility for the investment process, its monitoring and ongoing development. He is also sits on Rathbones Portfolio Construction Committee and is a member of the Collective Funds Investment Committee, which has responsibility for the research, selection and ongoing monitoring of "best-of-breed" funds for the group.
On graduating with an honours degree majoring in Economics, Tim was commissioned from Sandhurst into The Black Watch where he served for five years. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

Tony began his career in financial services in 1984 working for Commercial Union, before moving to Barclays where he specialised in pension plan administration. He joined Saunderson House in 1989 as a trainee financial planner, where he built extensive experience in successfully helping individuals manage their wealth, and was appointed a Director of the company in 1996. In January 2012, he became the Chief Executive Officer and is a member of the Saunderson House Board of Directors.
During his long career at Saunderson House, Tony has played a key role in cultivating a culture of always putting our clients' interests and goals at the heart of everything we do, and building a business that maintains strong client-advisor relationships - providing personal advice rather than selling products. Tony holds responsibility for setting the firm's strategic direction, championing our conduct agenda and instilling the firm's core values. He also plays a fundamental part in continuing to develop the company's corporate social responsibility and staff engagement programmes.
Tony holds the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and is a Chartered Financial Planner. In 2017, he was a winner in the Finance Monthly CEO Awards and has led Saunderson House in its recognition through numerous awards in recent years including the Best Wealth Management Adviser in the 2017 Money Marketing Awards.

Will is a fund manager on the Rathbone Multi-Asset Portfolio Funds, the offshore Luxembourg-based SICAVs, as well as the Rathbones Managed Portfolio Service (MPS), working alongside David Coombs. He joined Rathbones in 2007, having worked previously as a specialist researcher for Theisen Securities. At Rathbones, Will joined the charities team, and was appointed as an investment manager in 2011, running institutional multi-asset mandates. He has been on the multi-asset team since 2015 and is a member of Rathbones' Fixed Income Funds Committee.
Will graduated from the University of Manchester Institute of Science of Technology with a BSc Hons in Management, and is a CFA charterholder.
