ABBEY

The Abbey Theatre is a volunteer-run community theatre, converted from a drill hall in 1969 by a group of local Arts enthusiasts. Over the years the programming we offer has expanded and now includes amateur and professional theatre, musical theatre, comedy, music, spoken word and film. The auditorium seats 250 plus 4 wheelchair and carer spaces, and we have a comfortable bar area. Our upstairs rooms are used for rehearsals, meetings and occasionally performances. During 2021 we added an outdoor performance space, The Courtyard, which seats 40 in a café-style environment. Over 35,000 people visit the theatre each year... Nuneaton Arts CIO aims to provide the local community access to arts and entertainment, whilst providing opportunities for learning and improving awareness of the arts.
