I am a former resident of Canada with British roots and with family on both sides of the Atlantic I am somewhat of a mixed bag of nationalities. The range of diverse cultures I have experienced throughout my life gives me a quite unique perspective. I have worked with an Amish community in London Ontario, participated in a bus tour of the New England states and camped in the Appalachian Mountains and Cornwall (Cornwall being far harsher). I am a latecomer to the teaching profession and worked as a manager for Whitbread pubs before pursuing my ambition of becoming a primary school teacher. Some call me foolish but I prefer mad or just plain bonkers! I have been a headteacher for nearly 10 years now and feel I bring a wealth of experience to the role. I have four children who keep me incredibly busy and an amazing wife who keeps me sane. I love Ice Hockey, and watch whenever I can. I am also an avid movie buff and enjoy going to the cinema with friends and family.
