Connor MacAllan

Job Titles:
  • Trainee Solicitor
Connor graduated from the University of Stirling with an Honours degree in law and the University of Aberdeen with a Diploma in Professional Legal Practice with commendation. He joined PRG in November 2021 and undertakes a wide array of private client work such as guardianships, wills, powers of attorney and executries, as well as family law matters such as divorce and child contact. Connor likes to spend his spare time in the gym and has a passion for swimming, having played water polo from a young age and being part of Scotland's national team.

David Dickson

Job Titles:
  • Partner
David qualified as a Solicitor in 1980 and joined The PRG Partnership very quickly thereafter. He is a corporate lawyer to trade and deals with many aspects of commercial and company law, including commercial property transactions. Acting for many lenders, he now divides his time between commercial and residential matters and advises private buyers and investors in a wide range of property matters. He also holds one of the most important internal positions within PRG as cash room partner and is registered with the Law Society of Scotland as such. In other words, David keeps your money safe! In September 2016, David was appointed to the staff of the University of Glasgow as a part time tutor of law in the Department of Professional Legal Practice. David is a former Deacon of the Incorporation of Gardeners in Glasgow, one of Glasgow's ancient trades. He is also a Freeman of the City of Glasgow meaning that he can herd sheep through the streets of Glasgow if he chooses to do so. He is also a member of the Glasgow Renfrewshire Society. In all of his activities David has to be commended for his extensive work which involves fund raising for many charitable causes. And for not actually herding any sheep through the streets of Glasgow! David can be contacted at our Erskine office.

Donald Graham

Donald Graham qualified as a Solicitor in 1979 and joined The PRG Partnership in 1981 becoming a partner in 1983. He has been practising law in Kirkintilloch since joining the firm. He is principally involved in residential and commercial conveyancing, wills, executries, powers of attorney and guardianship matters. Donald retired as a partner and became a consultant on 1 July 2019. His interests include golf and supporting Airdrie Football Club. That alone shows what a great guy Donald is!

Eugene Boyle

Eugene Boyle qualified as a Solicitor in 1983 and joined The PRG Partnership in 1998. He was assumed as a partner in 2001. He is practises almost exclusively in criminal law at District, Sheriff and High Court levels and has appears in courts throughout Scotland. He has a particular expertise in Road Traffic Law. He is also involved in Childrens Hearings and other Family Law related matters. Eugene is also the firm's Client Relations Partner, a Law Society appointed role, helping to ensure a positive experience for all of PRG's clients. Eugene is the father of twin sons and therefore rarely sleeps, making police station visits during the night very easy! Eugene is based at our office in Clydebank.

Gabriella Watt

Gabriella graduated from the University of Glasgow with an Joint Honours degree in law and Italian and a Diploma in Professional Legal Practice with distinction. She joined PRG in November 2021 and has a wide array of talents, working for clients in relation to private client matters such as powers of attorney, wills and executries as well as commercial and residential conveyancing and commercial leasing to name but a few. Gabriella also studied Italian at university and during her degree spent a year at a university in Italy studying the law in Italian. She now has several Italian clients at PRG. In her spare time, Gabriella loves to spend time with her family and friends as well as watching her husband at his work. That last bit sounds a bit strange until we tell you that he is a professional footballer!

George Hunter

George qualified as a solicitor in 1982 and for many years had his own law practice in the West End of Glasgow, building a substantial and successful practice there. He joined PRG as a consultant thereafter and is now based in our office at Clydebank. George continues to assist clients in Glasgow and beyond, mainly dealing with residential conveyancing transactions. Notably he is experienced in high value transactions as one would be when dealing with the sale and purchase of property in Glasgow's West End! In his spare time George enjoys golf, watching football and spending time with his family which includes his son, Ruadhri, who is George's legal secretary and PRG's most excellent receptionist.

Heather MacInnes

After leaving secondary school in Dunoon, Heather worked as a junior typist in a local solicitors' office. In later years she moved from Argyllshire to Glasgow to further her legal experience. Heather has worked for The PRG Partnership for 27 years in various departments but primarily as a partner's secretary carrying out civil work. Heather has played the bagpipes for 40 years. Having enjoyed her time playing in pipe bands and taking part in both band and solo competitions, she now runs her own business as a Wedding Piper.

James Cassels

Jim Cassels is a consultant with the firm having joined in 2008. He is a sought after criminal lawyer and is also qualified under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE) to represent clients under military law. Jim studied architecture in his youth but went on to forge a career in the police rising to the inner sanctums of the more specialist sections of the force. Moving on to study law, he served his apprenticeship with PRG and then started his own law practice which he ran for many years, practising in many areas of the law. He was persuaded to return to PRG as a consultant and continues to represent clients all over Scotland assisted by the range of legal backup that PRG can provide. Jim enjoys gardening and DIY and tells scary stories of climbing onto roofs and scaling trees for those purposes. Rather him than me!

Jennifer Quinn

Jennifer Quinn originally joined the firm as a trainee solicitor in 1999. She qualified as a Solicitor in 2001. She was assumed as a partner in 2007. Jennifer deals with all types of court actions such as reparation claims, family cases and many other types of civil litigation. She specialises in providing practical employment advice to a wide range of clients dealing with both employee and employer clients in relation to issues such as unfair dismissal and discrimination. An important part of her work is dealing non-contentious employment matters including drafting and reviewing employment contracts and policies. In January 2020, Jennifer was appointed as a part time tutor in Employment Law and Civil Litigation at the University of Glasgow within the Department of Professional Legal Practice. She is also a qualified family law mediator. Jennifer's no-nonsense attitude provides results for clients, but we do feel for her husband when she decides to take work home with her. When not taking work home, Jennifer is based in our Clydebank office.

John Mackie

John studied law at the University of Aberdeen and joined PRG as a trainee solicitor in 1985. He remained with the firm as an assistant and then an associate and was appointed as a partner in 1995. Yes, 10 years it took them! John practises in many areas of the law but has a particular interest in entertainment, media and intellectual property law as well as claims based on contract and professional negligence. He acts for a number of high profile clients involved in the entertainment industry as well as from the worlds of property and commerce. He also maintains a successful private client practice at our office in Erskine. John deals with clients who need advice on copyrights, trademarks and other intellectual property matters. Having originally trained in litigation he retains an interest in the firm's court department but has also extended his practice to include commercial, corporate and property transactions. He has been involved in a number of cases on behalf of musicians involving the recovery of royalties lost in the midst of time arising from the break up and reformation of acts from the 1960s to the present day. Collectively the clients he has advised have accumulated over 50 top ten hits and counting. And John has all the albums! In June 2015, John was appointed to the staff of the University of Glasgow teaching several subjects as a part time tutor of law in the Department of Professional Legal Practice. He was appointed deputy senior tutor of Commercial Contracts in 2018. John is married with twin daughters. His interests include music and the performing arts. He was a professional musician, playing with a 10-piece soul band for many years. He retired when he finally realised that most stage calls were way after his bedtime!

John Sullivan

John Sullivan qualified as a solicitor in 1981 and joined The PRG Partnership in 1998. He was assumed as a partner in 2007. John has practiced in Kirkintilloch for many years and works from our Kirkintilloch office. He specialises in criminal and civil litigation but deals with most aspects of general practice including conveyancing and wills and executries. His particular interest is in family law and he has been a member of the Family Law Association for many years. John holds a very important position as a registered solicitor Reporter to Glasgow Sheriff Court. As such he is directed by Sheriffs to investigate and prepare reports for contentious child law cases. John must make recommendations which can affect the future wellbeing and welfare of children. There can be no greater responsibility. John takes such responsibility in his stride. John is a dreadful golfer and really ought not to play at all, but he says that he enjoys it too much!

Mairi Mitchell

Mairi runs the firm's Estate Agency and has been with the PRG for 21 years and an estate agent for 29 years. She is experienced in all aspects of estate agency. Mairi is also registered in Scotland as a qualified letting agent. Our estate agency deals with the sale and letting of properties of all values and Mairi advises clients all over Scotland. Away from the office she loves walking, swimming, reading and spending time with her friends and her expanding family.

Maureen Paterson

Job Titles:

  • Member of the Society of Law Accountants
Maureen is the firm's senior cashier. Her work involves keeping track of all banking on a daily basis and managing the firm's accounts system as well as dealing with sending and receiving large payments and ensuring that money laundering regulations are complied with. Maureen is a Member of the Society of Law Accountants in Scotland. She is one of the firm's longest serving members of staff, having joined PRG in 1989. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, music and going to live concerts.

Ruadhri Hunter

Job Titles:
  • Reception, Legal Secretary
Ruadhri joined PRG in April 2018 and is our receptionist at Clydebank and central switchboard operator. He also deals with conveyancing, wills, powers of attorney and estates, working with one of our solicitors. Ruadhri deals with all various different types of clients on the phone and loves communicating and providing a high level of customer service. Ruadhri previously worked at Hunter & Co where he gained experience in legal work. He was also involved in the estate agency side for the business, setting closing dates and carrying out viewings. On one occasion he even helped a purchaser move their furniture so they could get their hired van back in time! Ruadhri is very passionate about sport especially badminton, football and MMA. He is a keen follower of Glasgow Rangers and is a season ticket holder but you don't need to hold that against him!

Tracey O'Hara

Tracey left school at the age of 18 and started working in a local solicitors' firm as a junior typist. She then went on to work in a city centre office dealing primarily with court work and remained there for 18 years. Following the birth of her son, Tracey joined The PRG Partnership in September 2015 working for Donald Graham in relation to private client matters such as powers of attorney, wills and executries as well as commercial and residential conveyancing. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family and friends, particularly her much loved black Labrador!
