Following a long career as an award-winning international designer of classical and traditional buildings, Anthony now lives in Bath and works on local projects mainly in the south-west of England. Much of his work involves remodelling or extending listed buildings. Clients praise his unique ability to draw on the richness and wealth of a building's original architectural language and adapt it to meet the needs of modern living in an appropriate, sensitive and creative way. Anthony is normally only involved at the conceptual design and planning stage, when he starts by absorbing the site, building and client's brief and then produces a series of multi choice sketch designs. Any selected by the clients are then developed into beautiful hand drawn visuals - often water coloured - which have proved to be very effective in getting listed building consent.
