Since 1970, we at Coverguard Insurance Brokers have been providing commercial Insurance, Motor, Home and travel insurance to our customers... All the insurance companies we deal with are registered with the ABI (Association of British Insurers), syndicates who are members of Lloyd's of London and all are registered with Financial Conduct Authority. Since we started in 1970, we have always been registered with the regulatory body at the time. This was previously the The Insurance Brokers Registration Council (IBRC). Since The IBRC was dissolved, we joined the GISC (General Insurance Standards Council). This organisation looked after the interests of the general public and oversee the affairs of all companies and firms that transact general insurance. This organisation was replaced by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) in 2004/5. In keeping with most professional brokers we are members of The Institute of Insurance Brokers (IIB) and The British Insurance and Investment Brokers'..
