Since being officially opened by Her Majesty The Queen in December 2005, Hillsborough Village Centre has become a hub of activity and a community focal point which facilitates people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. The whole complex is a not-for-profit charity community venture and every penny of income generated over and above running costs is re-invested to maintain and improve the facilities and equipment available... While our main focus is facilitating community activities, we also provide facilities for commercial users in rooms equipped with boardroom furniture, digital projectors, laptops, and wall mounted smart TVs... We are hugely grateful for all the ongoing funding and support from Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council, Co-Op, Sport NI, Covid-19 Charities Fund and Co-Operation Ireland/Rural Community Network.
