Our aim at Newberries is to develop independent, self-confident learners who aim to achieve their personal best educationally, socially and emotionally. Our environment is safe, fun and nurturing. We prepare Newberries children as ‘Learners for the Future' with a foundation of the skills, knowledge, aspirations and resilience to succeed in their secondary education and lives beyond. We support our pupils to be accepting of others and make positive choices, in order to uphold the values of our school community... Two Parent Consultation evenings are held during the school year to offer you the opportunity to meet with your child's class teacher to discuss their progress and next steps. In addition we operate an 'Open Door Policy'. This encourages parents to arrange a meeting at a mutually convenient time with teaching staff after school, to discuss any concerns or ask any questions they may have about their child's learning.
