Off the Shelf furniture is made from a combination of high quality MDF, solid wood and real wood veneer, depending on the product you choose. Real wood veneer will have a clear lacquer finish and painted units will be finished in our water based cream/white or colour matched paint. All our timber products are sourced from certified FSC suppliers... Off the Shelf, from The Hungerford Bookcase Company, is a range of freestanding furniture for the rooms in your home that do not require a fully bespoke storage solution. We have designed products in standard sizes that are functional and cost effective, and because we are manufacturers of handmade bespoke furniture, made to a very high standard and quality... Additionally because we make all our shelving and storage furniture here at our workshops we are able to offer a semi-bespoke services for those who are searching for 'just the right size' bookcase, desk, or bedroom/ hallway/shoe storage products.
