Alan joined the RFe team in November 2018 as a highly qualified design engineer and Project Manager with over 20 years experience in the industry. Alan holds his LPCB Basic, Intermediate and FHC Design Competence qualifications and has a strong technical knowledge, as well as thorough leadership and project management skills. Many of his current projects require in depth FM Global and NFPA design knowledge. Alan is involved in the initial concept, design, development and management of projects, focusing on our southern based clients.
Alan joined Rfe in 2002 as a sprinkler installer progressing to site supervisor in 2007 then site manager in 2016. He is highly experienced in the installation, servicing and commissioning of sprinkler systems and is involved in health and safety on site, ensuring our site guys are provided with all the equipment and training they require. Based in the North West Alan travels across the north of England and Scotland as required, or nationally when needed. He holds a CSCS gold supervisors card as well as Ipaf, Pasma and SMSTS qualifications. Alan is also our qualified mental health first aider.
Angus joined us in September 2022 as a trainee sprinkler design engineer based at our Richmond office. Armed with a college-based engineering qualification and AutoCAD 2D & 3D skills, Angus is now working hard to gain the required understanding of BSEN 12845, BS9251, NFPA, FM global standards. In addition, Angus is expanding his experience of the entire life cycle of a sprinkler system project, including visits to construction sites and our design office. Angus will take his LPCB competency exams for FHC basic, intermediate and testing commissioning in due course.

- RFe in 2016 As a Trainee Designer
Ben joined RFe in 2016 as a trainee designer. He learnt his trade on site carrying out automatic sprinkler installation then after a year of hard graft, moved to the office to develop his AutoCAD design skills and absorb the LPC sprinkler rule book! With the help of RFe tuition Ben passed his LPCB basic exam and today he is an integral part of the design team based in Huddersfield.
Having been with RFe for 6 years now, Dan is highly competent in creating designs to LPC BS EN 12845 and NFPA/FM standards. Dan began his career with RFe as a Senior Designer / Project Manager and last year became a Contracts Director. Dan specialises in BIM modelling and is able to create 3D designs in Revit and AutoCAD to meet our client's requirements. Working with the design team based in Huddersfield Dan can often be found on-site ensuring the smooth running of his projects.

James joined Rfe in 2005 as a sprinkler installer progressing to site supervisor in 2014. He is highly experienced in the installation and and commissioning of residential and commercial sprinkler systems. James is based in the North West and works nationally when needed, with recent projects being City Gardens and New Victoria in the centre of Manchester. He holds a CSCS gold supervisors card as well as Ipaf, Pasma, Face Fit, and Pat testing qualifications.

Jill joined RFe in 2018 and today forms as an integral part of the Servicing & Small Works team organising our service engineers on sites across the country. Jill is experienced in responding to clients emergency call-outs, setting up new clients and scheduling repeat works. Based at our Richmond office, Jill works closely with Sharna and the service engineers to ensure the smooth running of all Service & Small Works projects. - Sales & Estimating Manager
Kevin joined RFe in August 2019 and coming from a similar role in a tank installation company and having previously worked within the sprinkler industry he was up and running straight away. Based at home with frequent visits to our North West office in Huddersfield and Head office in Richmond, Kevin's cool, calm and confident demeanour makes him an essential part of our team. His role involves liaising with existing and potential new clients, understanding their exact specifications and calculating the final budget for the project. Kevin works closely with Chris and Lee in putting together proposals and winning new work. Mark joined RFe in 2011 as a fitters mate, progressing to experienced fitter then site supervisor, managing his own team. Mark is experienced in the inspection, installation and testing of residential and commercial fire sprinkler systems to the relevant standards. Based in the North West Mark works nationally when needed, with recent projects being Potato Wharf in Manchester and Ashurst Primary school in St Helens. Mark has obtained his PASMA, IPAF, SSSTS, Emergency First Aid and Manual Handing qualifications and holds a CSCS Gold Supervisor card. His competence and behaviour on-site make him a great role model to our less experienced fitters.
Paul re-joined RFE in early 2022 having previously been with us for over 5 years between 2012 to 2017. After a period at Zurich Insurance working as a Senior Risk Engineer, Paul is now the Technical Director for RFE managing our busy design team across both offices. Paul ensures all standards and rules are complied with and keeps our design work at the leading edge of technology. Paul offers fire protection support to our designers leading them through the required regulations and approvals process. In addition, Paul provides a mentoring role to our trainee sprinkler designers working on a range of interesting projects including healthcare, education, residential & industrial warehouse fire protection.

- Procurement Administrator
Rebecca joined RFe in 2020 and is part of our busy procurement team based at our Richmond office. Together with the Procurement and Plant Manager, Rebecca sources and places orders to ensure our installations have the required plant, fittings and labour ready on site. As well assisting with purchasing activity, Rebecca helps manage our subcontractors. In addition to this Rebecca is involved in Quality Management, H&S, assisting with the company's compliance and accreditations, and developing the RFe website and social media streams. - Service & Small Works Manager
Sharna has been working in the industry for 23 years and has worked for us for over six years. During this time Sharna has expanded the company's Service and Small Works department, and she continues to develop the team, together with Jill, our Service Co-ordinator and with our service engineers.
Sharna is responsible for providing customers with tailored service plans to meet our client's needs, as well as raising service remedials and small works quotations ensuring all servicing and maintenance works are verified and fully compliant, meeting all relevant legislation.
Sharna can often be found with her hard hat and safety glasses on-site meetings and liaising with new and existing customers. Should you have a servicing/maintenance/small works related query Sharna will happily answer your questions.
Working in the design team at our Huddersfield office, Tom's experience of creating designs to the required LPC BS EN 12845 and NFPA/FM standards makes him a highly valued member of the team. Like Dan, Tom also began his career with RFe as a Senior Designer / Project Manager and in 2022 became a Contracts Director.
