My name is Mary Hope and in one way or another I have spent my entire professional life having a profound impact on people's careers. For eight of them I was a headhunter, recruiting senior individuals for a range of roles across the public sector. Working to a brief provided by the employer... I was advising (and often deciding) who got interviews and who didn't. I was writing questions for interviews and in a powerful position to influence the final decision. My assignments include placing Local Authority Chief Executives, NDPB Directors, Charity Directors, Housing Association Chief Executives and NHS Directors... In addition to advising the employers, I was giving feedback and coaching the applicants to help them improve their job-hunting skills. I am now working with candidates and employees. My passion is to advise and support people on how to make their career a success, to get paid more, promoted faster and feel more satisfied.
