8th Day specializes in delivering task-specific, database-driven apps for schools and non-profits, in the San Francisco Bay Area... In 1991, 8th Day began training teachers and individuals how to use the emerging technologies of the Internet including Email, web browsing and web page composition... In the mid-nineties, the client base grew through recommendations by existing clients and the scope of services evolved to include connecting multiple school campuses to the Internet. At this time, the company was registered under the name 8th Day, offering computer consulting services in the Silicon Valley counties. Some small applications and original works were developed at this time, but they were not in high demand at the time.
