The Association of African Business Schools (AABS), established in October 2005, is an organization comprised of 27 member schools, dedicated to strengthening management, business and leadership education in Africa. AABS seeks to work with a core group of African business schools to address critical knowledge and skills gaps in business, management and leadership core competencies among Agricultural Development stakeholders and across the Agribusiness value chain. This will be done by developing and delivering Agribusiness management training programs in Tanzania, Ghana and Nigeria initially. Over time these programs will be scaled up to the rest of the continent and to a broader group of agribusiness stakeholders using similar techniques to those that AABS is using to support the strengthening of the broader network of African business schools.
