Able Ships is also recognised by MNZ as a National Inspection Agency, and can carry out approval, inspection and testing of all ships' lifting appliances and loose cargo gear... Able Ships provides a service to assist vessel operators to produce their MTOP (Maritime Transport Operators Plan), this can be from as little as a review of your own MTOP before submitting, or gathering information and providing the complete manuals and other documents. Able Ships can also provide ongoing support service, including auditing vessel operators to ensure ongoing compliance... We also offer a complete consultancy service. This includes new vessel design, alterations to existing vessels, propulsion analysis, accident investigation and much more. On occasions we work closely with Class Societies, insurers, and maritime law experts as required.
