Gloria Rouhani

Dr. Rouhani is a native of Southern California. She graduated from Ross University, School of Medicine then completed her OB/GYN residency at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC. She is board certified, a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a member of the American Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology. Dr. Rouhani is the newest member of Aiken OB/GYN, joining in early 2017. Even though she likes all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology, she has a special interest in preventative health screening.

James F. Boehner

A native of Syracuse, New York, Dr. Boehner graduated from Syracuse University with honors and completed his medical degree at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Syracuse. He moved to the Central Savannah River Area in 1982 to complete his Obstetrics and Gynecology internship and residency at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He has practiced Obstetrics and Gynecology in Aiken since 1986, and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG) and is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Boehner is also a member of the South Carolina Medical Association and the Aiken County Medical Society. At Aiken Regional Medical Centers, he founded the Department of Perinatal Medicine and served as chairman of that department from 1991 to 1997. This department is composed of both Obstetricians/Gynecologists and Pediatricians and is dedicated to the improvement of maternal/neonatal/infant health. He has served on numerous committees at ARMC as well. He is currently a member of the Board of Governors of Aiken Regional Medical Centers and has served as the Board's chairman in the past. Dr. Boehner lives in Aiken with his wife Debbie. Their four children are grown and live across the United States. His hobbies include Amateur Radio and all forms of two-way communication. He is currently a Director for the American Radio Relay League - the National Association of Amateur Radio - and represents the states of South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia on the Board of Directors. He is an active tennis player, and is a life member of the US Tennis Association. He is also an accomplished musician, playing trumpet for numerous professional and amateur organizations throughout the CSRA.

Janet C. Powell

  • Women 's Health Nurse Practitioner
Janet is a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. She was born in North Carolina and received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1982. She moved to Aiken in 1992 and worked in Labor & Delivery at Aiken Regional Medical Center. She received a Master of Science in Nursing in 2001 from the University of South Carolina at Columbia and has been in practice in Aiken since. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Woman's Health.

Robert D. Boone

Dr. Boone was born and raised in Aiken, S.C. He graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, completed a Family Practice internship in Spartanburg, and a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Greenville Memorial Hospital System in Greenville, S.C. He has practiced Obstetrics and Gynecology in Aiken since 1988. Dr Boone is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of the South Carolina Medical Society and the Aiken County Medical Society.
