- Vice President of Strategy & Planning
Brad started with AJK in 2007 after spending several years in the field and obtaining his Electrical Journeyman's license. During his tenure, he has managed a variety of projects ranging in complexity, including design/build, high-rise construction, tenant improvements, museums, and historical restorations. He currently operates as the Company's Vice President of Strategy and Planning, managing risk through prefabrication and construction standardization.
Eric began his career with AJK in the year 2000, shortly after receiving a degree specializing in CAD design. Throughout the years, Eric has led many roles beginning as an Electrical field apprentice and now proudly serves as an Executive Vice President. Eric is passionate about delivering quality installations to his clients and offers the best of the best product lines in the industry. He thrives on doing things right and is thankful for the support of his team and fellow co-workers.

Henry started as an electrical apprentice at ABC in 1998 and earned a Foreman title by the time he graduated in 2002. He ran projects for 10+ years before transitioning into the office as a Project Manager in 2012. With his work ethic and proficiency as a leader, he transitioned from PM to Sr. PM, then to Sponsor/Operations Manager, and currently Vice President. His project experience ranges from Mixed-Use to Higher Education and everything in between. As a Vice President, Henry oversees the Field Development of our company while maintaining his Sponsor/Operations Manager commitments.
Leah Zappia - Chief Legal Officer, COO
Leah started with the Company in 2006 and currently serves as the Company's Chief Operations Officer. She holds her Electrical Journeyman card, an MBA from the University of Redlands, and a law degree from Western State College of Law. Leah is a California licensed attorney and assists the Company with legal matters.
As a graduate of UC Santa Barbara, Michael brings years of experience to the financial leadership of AJK. Michael oversees all aspects of the company's financial business and manages the accounting and IT Departments.
Michelle Kirkwood began her career at A.J. Kirkwood in 2001 as Corporate Relations Director. She has also served on the Board of Directors since 2008. Mrs. Kirkwood is extremely proud of her A.J. Kirkwood & Associates family.
