AIT - Key Persons

Bill Clark

Job Titles:
  • Engineer and Designer of the BGC Audio Tone Enhancer

Dorinne Davis

Job Titles:
  • Audiologist
Dorinne Davis is an audiologist. I would think that most occupational therapists who work daily in the trenches, with the vestibular system, relate these functional changes with AIT more to vestibular influence than anything else (meaning - not a single muscle is doing all that, as the stapedius is simply an efficient mechanical link and another door, an quicker door, than other doors to get to the vestibular system).

Dr. Guy Berard

Job Titles:
  • Inventor of Berard AIT and Author of Hearing Equals Behavior
Dr. Guy Berard, now deceased, was an accomplished Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) medical doctor of Annecy, France for over 40 years. Dr. Guy Berard is the original inventor of Auditory Integration Training. Dr. Berard initially developed Auditory Integration Training to treat conductive hearing loss. The Berard AIT method is an effective way to changing hearing thresholds and perceptions by a non-pharmaceutical approach. He developed the much more efficient and highly successful Berard AIT method, based upon the contemporary work of Dr. Alfred Tomatis. Dr. Berard treated over 8,000 clients in his long career. During his many years of practice, Dr. Berard identified 2,300 whom he felt would benefit specifically from Auditory Integration Training. His amazing book (now out of print, but well worth finding!) called "Hearing Equals Behavior" documents the results from clients coming to his own medical practice.
