With over 35 years of experience in the industry, Hii Puong Ching has been involved in a diverse portfolio of architectural and interior projects. His work has received numerous awards and recognition from the (PAM) Malaysia Institute of Architects.

As the design and studio lead at Aki Media, Julie leads the development of a work culture by fostering a collaborative environment that hones the company's internal skills. She leads the studio with the belief of creating a fun workplace environment that channels efficiency and improves the productivity of our Aki Media family.
Her unique method of leadership has brought forth a progressive approach to the team with a working culture that enables knowledge sharing and the growth of creativity. Her studio role also encompasses liaising with industries, resources, commercial management, and human resource development.
Julie joined the firm in 2012, where her passion for combining artistic vision with technical problem-solving was immediately noted. Her full-time commitment and professional experience in the award-winning University Technology Sarawak project have earned her a key role in Education and Health. Her ability to work closely with clients and lead industrial teams in their progression from conceptual development to construction even issued in her delivering the first GBI "Platinum" rated university in Malaysia.

Lilian began her career in Aki Media as an administrative clerk performing general office work. Over her 30 years serving the company, she has gained substantial experience assisting architectural professionals. Her current role as the studio manager provides effective and efficient administrative management in supporting the architectural practice and culture of the company.
Her crucial role in leading the "People and Culture" has introduced an empowering and engaging workplace for the team while constantly elevating our productivity. In addition, her enthusiasm for creating a "family-like" working environment also helps keep the team like-minded and aligned with our founder's vision.
As our most respected and loyal staff of Aki Media, it is hard to imagine Aki Media without Lilian. Her caring and helpful personality have been the impetus in supporting the team from top to bottom with effective teamwork and respect for deadlines while providing the company with administrative talents, proving herself to be a core member of the AM family.
Michael is our associate director overseeing the client relationship, branding and marketing of the company. He leads an award-winning studio, mentors and develops designers with their skills, while also crafting brand identities for Aki Media.
His brand initiative includes creating brand narratives, visual brand identity designs, story packaging designs, visual communication and experiential graphic systems. His marketing plan and strategy focuses on media publicity and creating new business opportunities.
Michael's role as an architectural designer mainly focuses on conceptual design proposals and project leads in mix-used transportation and commercial projects.
His previous portfolio ranges from small-scale firms to the internationally renowned firm, Woods Bagot, Perth Studio where he was involved in numerous large-scale projects for both the Dubai and Australian market. He was appointed as a Sessional Academic by Curtin University, Perth to assist the teaching team in workshops for visual design and presentation to effectively illustrate concept ideas.

Song Siaw Young is a passionate architect who is patient, analytical, and strategic in the engagement process of projects. Song is a highly skilled senior Project Architect in the studio and is well-versed in all phases of project delivery, from concept, construction, and handover. In addition, his deep knowledge of local authority and technical fire standards development in Sarawak and Malaysia has branded him an architectural practice "cikgu" and encyclopedia in both our teams.
With over 27 years of experience in technical and buildability knowledge, Song is considered refined through completing many public realm, residential, commercial, and mixed development projects. Song delights in collaborating with other building specialists to achieve excellent architecture outcomes. He is passionate about building details and is fascinated by how building materials can be detailed and assembled to create high-performing buildings for occupants.
For every project, Song offers constancy and rigor to his approach while always striving to identify the commercial opportunities for his clients to enhance the project's potential and value. Song believes that working closely with his clients with a critical understanding of commercial complexity is the key to unlocking projects' potential value.
As the project director of Aki Media, Stephen expertise focus on the operations and practice management of the studio. His passion in technical design with the wide range of professional experience have leverage the studio in creating a profound understanding of the nature of each unique project with creative management and strategic thinking.
Stephen embraces a collaborative design and technical approach by directing the Aki Media team from detail design phase, liasing with industry, procurement, managing and coordination during the construction stage to completion of the project lifecycle. His strong belief of the delivering each project with authenticity and practicality through form of design have successfully guided the team in meeting the parameters of the clients brief and budget.
With an extensive experience of 30 years, Stephen has contributed his expertise to numerous Aki Media projects ranging in complexity, scale and sector, from residential, commercial, education, hospitality, civic and industrial projects. This vast experience has enabled Stephen to implemented practice management value and creative solution in the field of Urban planning, Architecture and Interior design practice including several award-winning and key projects.
As a RIBA qualified and ARB registered Architect in UK since 1993, Stephen have spent his early work portfolio in UK based architectural firms, William Gower and Partners, and Harrison + Pitts where he gained his early exposure in residential, health and age care, mixed use, workplace and retail as well as participated in winning the multi-millions pounds Bradford Mixed used Redevelopment project, UK.
Victor is the design director of Aki Media studio, his keen design vision and creative direction have crafted all our past and present projects. As an engaging leader, he builds the design team's momentum and actively guides the integrated design process and solution for large-scale and complex projects.
