Andy has also served as an Assistant United States Attorney focusing on narcotics and white-collar crime investigations; an equity partner at Bartlit Beck, one of the nation's leading trial boutiques; and a Law Clerk to the Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Andy graduated from Colgate University and earned his law degree from Northwestern University School of Law.

Christina Antoniou

Christina Antoniou serves as Senior Vice President, Head of Corporate Development at Tempus, where she is responsible for the company's mergers, acquisitions, partnerships and strategic investing efforts. Before joining Tempus, Christina spent four years at Medidata Solutions, a Dassault Systèmes company. There, she held multiple roles, including Vice President, Head of Integration and Senior Director, Corporate Development. At Medidata, Christina completed several strategic acquisitions and early-stage investments. Later she represented Medidata in its sales process, culminating in the sale of Medidata to Dassault Systèmes for $5.8 billion. After the acquisition, Christina led Medidata's integration with Dassault Systèmes. Earlier in her career, Christina held roles in investment banking and venture capital. Christina received an MBA from the Wharton School and holds a BA from Smith College.

Dr. Calvin Chao

Prior to that role, he worked in various bio-pharmaceutical medical director positions at Onyx Pharmaceuticals, PDL BioPharma, TAP Pharmaceuticals, and SmithKline Beecham. Dr. Funmi Olopade

A practicing medical oncologist, she is the Walter L Palmer Distinguished Service professor of medicine and director of the Center for Clinical Cancer Genetics at the University of Chicago Medical Center. The consummate clinician scientist, Dr. Olopade's research is focused on advancing novel strategies to prevent and treat cancer based on an understanding of the altered genetic pathways in individual patients. Dr. Olopade has received numerous honors and awards, including honorary degrees from Bowdoin, Princeton, North Central, and Dominican universities. She is also a recipient of the Doris Duke Distinguished Clinical Scientist and Exceptional Mentor Award, an American Cancer Society Clinical Research Professorship, a MacArthur Foundation Fellowship, a Franklin Roosevelt Freedom from Want Award, The Gregory Mendel Medal, and Officer of the Order of the Niger Award. Dr. Olopade is an elected member of the National Academy of Medicine, American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the American Philosophical Society. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, MacArthur Foundation, the Lyric Opera of Chicago, and Cancer IQ. Dr. Kate Sasser

Dr. Kate Sasser is the Chief Scientific Officer of Tempus. Dr. Sasser brings over 20 years of experience in translational research and precision medicine in biological sciences across academia and the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Prior to Tempus, she led the translational research, precision medicine, and R&D operations organizations within Genmab, a biotech company focused on developing transformative antibody therapeutics as medicine. She also led translational research for oncology at Johnson and Johnson (Janssen PRD), using translational and data science approaches to accelerate clinical development. Dr. Sasser graduated from Oregon State University with a BS in Microbiology, and received her PhD in integrated biomedical sciences from Ohio State University.

Dr. Keith Stewart

Dr. Keith Stewart serves as Scientific Advisor at Tempus. He is a consultant in the Division of Hematology and Oncology, at Mayo Clinic. He currently serves as the Carlson and Nelson Endowed Director of the Mayo Clinic Center for Individualized Medicine and is recognized as the Vasek and Anna Maria Polak Professor of Cancer Research. Dr. Stewart's current responsibilities at Mayo Clinic relate to the application of genomics to human health across the spectrum of discovery, translation and application to clinical practice. Dr. Stewart has served in several leadership roles across both research and clinical practice at Mayo Clinic, including as Dean for research in Arizona, and as a member of the Arizona Executive Operations Team and Clinical Practice committee. He has served on multiple boards for both non-profit and commercial organizations, including currently as a Non-Executive Board member for Genomics England and the Scientific Advisory Boards of Helix Inc., Veritas Genetics Inc., and the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation investment fund. His own research interest is in the genomics and treatment of myeloma and he has led numerous clinical trials of new drugs for this blood cancer. Dr. Stewart and has authored over 300 journal articles, is named on 28 patents and has served as an associate editor of Blood and ASH Clinical News.

Dr. Kevin White

Dr. Kevin White is a Scientific Advisor and Fellow at Tempus. He served as President and as Chief Science Officer during the company's first five years. Dr. White is a pioneer in generating and analyzing large-scale biological datasets to generate insights into complex biological systems, and since the mid 2000's, he has focused his efforts on developing new approaches for accelerating precision medicine through the analysis of large scale ‘omics and clinical data. Prior to Tempus, Dr. White was the James and Karen Frank Family Professor of Human Genetics and Medicine and Founding Director of the Institute for Genomics and Systems Biology in Chicago. His recognitions for innovation include the Keck Biomedical Investigator award, the Beckman Young Investigator award and Crain's Business ‘40 Under 40' list. He has served on the scientific boards of a wide range of start-up biotech companies and foundations. He is a founder of Provaxus, Inc. and of HealthSeq Pvt. Ltd. (now Tempus Singapore Pvt. Ltd.), and he has held scientific advisory board positions at institutions that include Harvard University, Yale University, Northwestern University, and the National Cancer Institute. He currently also holds a position as Professor of Biochemistry and Medicine at the National University of Singapore and the Genome Institute of Singapore.
