Art's Smokehouse BBQ restaurant was established in 1993, in Rapid City, South Dakota while Art fulfilled his dynamic active duty obligation in the United Sates Air Force. After his retirement he expanded his business to areas to include Coral Springs, Florida, Altamonte Springs, FL, and finally opening the last location in Winter Garden, FL while he was terminally ill.
