Chuck Borek

Before founding the Borek Group, LLC, Chuck Borek practiced both as an attorney and as a CPA, including five years as a partner in a public accounting firm. He received his law degree and MBA summa cum laude from the University of Baltimore in 1993, where he was editor-in-chief of the Law Review. He has been teaching professionally since 1989, including four years as an Associate Professor of Accounting and two years as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Law. He has lectured throughout the U.S. and has conducted both live and Web-based seminars. Chuck's publications include: Legal Issues for Accountants and Auditors (BNA 2015); Borek's Maryland Business Planning Manual (MICPEL 2008); Hospital Accounting (BNA 2006), Contract Drafting and Review for the Maryland Lawyer (MSBA 2015); as well as numerous law review articles. Frank M. Keiser

Frank Keiser has over 40 years experience as an IRS tax auditor, revenue agent, and program analyst, and in 2011 he received the prestigious Special Achievement Award from IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman. He has consulted with the Department of Justice in civil tax matters and has served as an expert witness in criminal tax cases. While working for the IRS he was an instructor for Tax Auditor Training I, II and III; Revenue Agent I, II, III, IV and V; a guest instructor for Revenue Officer classes; and an instructor at various IRS internal CPE courses. Frank has also acted as an instructor for VITA classes and has been a guest speaker on tax topics to numerous stakeholders. His teaching experience also includes courses in both income tax and accounting at Montgomery County Community College. In addition to being a CPA, he is also a Project Management Professional and has expertise in a variety of software products, including Microsoft SQL. Frank attended college at Penn State University and holds a Masters Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University.

Gerald M. Kelly

Gerald W. Kelly began his professional career with the IRS in 1991, where he was assigned to field offices in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. As a Revenue Officer, Jerry was responsible for civil investigations and enforcement actions. He also served as an Offer in Compromise Examiner, evaluating settlement proposals submitted by individual and corporate taxpayers. While in law school, he served as a paralegal specialist/law clerk with the United States Department of Justice, where he supported attorneys engaged in complex civil cases at trial and on appeal. While there, Jerry received a Special Achievement Award from Attorney General Janet Reno. He received his B.A. from the University of Maryland and his law degree from the University of Baltimore. Jerry is also a principal with the law firm of Kelly Dorsey, P.C.

Michael W. Davis

A frequent and sought-after lecturer on estate planning issues, Mike has been a featured speaker before many organizations, including the former Maryland Institute for the Continuing Legal Education for Lawyers. Mike has been awarded an "AV" rating by Martindale-Hubbell, a national peer review service, which indicates that he has reached the height of professional excellence and is recognized for the highest levels of skill and integrity. Mike is admitted to the Maryland Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
