Captain Porky's Seafood and BBQ was established in 1986 by The Kallianis family, putting down their roots in Zion, Illinois. Growing up in a small village in Greece, and influenced by southern cooking the Kallianis family developed a knack for scratch cooking and an immense passion for food. 40 years later you will find us in Wadsworth, Illinois, behind the counter, maintaining the highest standard for all of our food... We smoke meats and fish daily in our Aquarium wood-burning smoker pit, using logs of hickory, apple, and cherry. We offer homemade daily specials, house made soups, and a onsite pastry chef that will want to make you save room for a little more. All of our salads, sides, sauces, and desserts are made from scratch in-house. We even get our own olive oil imported from our family fields in Sparta, Greece. We are extremely passionate about the food we cook and are excited for you to taste the difference in our handcrafted products... Today we still maintain the highest..
