I previously worked as an HPC Systems Analyst and had the opportunity to work with several different vendors hardware products (Cray, SGI, IBM, Panasas, NVIDIA, Supermicro, Tyan, Cisco, Juniper, Mellanox, & Voltaire) and battled several different parallel filesystems (CXFS, Lustre, GPFS, & PanFS). My research background is in computer architecture with an emphasis on parallel and unconventional architectures (multi/many-core, message passing, cache coherence, reconfigurable computing, GPGPU).
