Formed in 2006 and based in Dover, we are the nation's first statewide community land trust and have as our mission the strengthening of Delaware communities by creating an inventory of permanently affordable homes... We make use of the leasehold form of home ownership to provide homes that are secure and inheritable, as well as affordable upon resale to the next home buying family... We are a nonprofit, membership-based, community-governed organization offering perpetually affordable home ownership opportunities using the community land trust model.
