ELECTRIC EDGE SYSTEMS GROUP

Founded in 2000, we started our journey as a custom business system development company. We worked for customers large, small, and in between. One of those large customers was the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada (aka the DFO). They became a long-term customer and our first foray into the world of commercial fishing... Electric Edge Systems Group builds quality, enterprise-level systems for the management of commercial fisheries. Our experience includes extensive work for Fisheries and Oceans Canada on a wide variety of projects as well with the state of Maryland and Michigan and their respective Department of Natural Resources. Integrated fisheries, transferable individual vessel quota, and bycatch reduction are examples of policies that we have helped to implement through our work on existing and new I.T. systems as well as our own system FACTS™ (Fishing Activity and Catch Tracking System).
