Walter graduated from Baylor University in 1990 with a BBA in Marketing. In 2006, he earned his MBA in Accounting and Finance from the Keller Graduate School of Management. He has over 25 years of construction experience including 12 years as the owner of M&M Construction, which was a residential construction contractor.
From 2004 to 2007, Walter served as the Vice President for D&E Architecture and Design, located in Dallas, Texas. His responsibilities included the management of large corporate accounts including La Quinta, Chick Fil A, Old Chicago Pizza, Nestle Tool House, El Palacio De Hierro, Fogo De Chao, Panda Express and others along. In that capacity he provided the coordination of the permitting of the plans with various cities all over the country along with construction management of their projects.
In order to provide clients at D&E a construction company capable of handling the project from concept to completion Walter founded Eagle Mountain Enterprises LLC. As a result, many of the clients began using Eagle Mountain Enterprises as a preferred contractor for construction management and commercial construction.
