Dr. Carolyn Harari

Dr. Carolyn Harari is a native of Columbia, SC. She obtained a bachelor's degree in Mathematics at Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts in 1998 and a master's degree in Mathematics at the University of South Carolina in 2000. She then taught high school and middle school math for 3 years before deciding to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Dr. Harari worked as a veterinary assistant for 3 years while she went back to school full time at the University of South Carolina to get the prerequisites for veterinary school. She graduated from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Following graduation, she has worked in small animal exclusive veterinary clinics here in the Columbia area. She became the medical director of Gregg Animal Hospital in 2018. Dr. Harari's veterinary interests are in feline medicine, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and dentistry. She loves treating her clients and their pets like family and believes in building strong relationships with her patients and their families. Dr. Harari enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, cooking and upcycling old furniture. Dr. Harari and her husband, Marc, have 2 children (Joye and Joel), 4 cats (Kitty, Ruthie, Saul and Morty) and 2 dogs (Ellie- a Dalmatian and Stella- a Lab/Hound mix).

Dr. Megan Greiner

Dr. Megan Greiner was born and raised in Columbia, SC. She attended Satchel Ford, Crayton, and A.C. Flora. She obtained her B.S. in Animal and Veterinary Science from Clemson University in 2007 and her DVM from Tuskegee University in 2011. While attending veterinary school, she worked at Gregg Animal Hospital as an assistant. She also volunteered at an elephant refuge in Thailand and a spay/neuter clinic in Nicaragua. She completed a year long small animal rotating internship at Animal Hospital Specialty Center in Highlands Ranch, CO where she then worked as an overnight emergency veterinarian. She has since moved back to South Carolina and has been working in general practice for the last four years at Port Royal Veterinary Hospital in the Lowcountry. She is so excited to have recently moved back to her hometown! Dr. Greiner's interests include emergency medicine, internal medicine, and endocrinology. She loves building a relationship with clients and educating on preventative medicine. Dr. Greiner enjoys kayaking, camping, skiing, watching Clemson football, and playing the guitar and ukulele. Her husband Tyler works for the SC Forestry Commission. All of their pets are rescues: a Border Collie mix named Guster and cat named Maggie May both were adopted with broken left forelimbs; a Pit Bull mix named Peyton, and a kitten named Khal Drogo.
