M A LEGAL - Key Persons
Adam joined the M A Legal team in August 2020.
Energetic and passionate, Adam adopts a pragmatic approach to all matters, striving to achieve prompt and fair outcomes for his clients. He is meticulous in his planning and provides clients with practical, objective and commercially-minded advice.
Prior to joining M A Legal, Adam practised at a generalist firm and has a strong background in all aspects of family law including property and financial matters, parenting disputes and intervention order proceedings. Adam's knowledge is strengthened by previous practice in commercial law, wills and estates and employment law. A confident litigator and advocate, Adam regularly undertakes appearance work across multiple jurisdictions including the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, the Family Court of Australia and Magistrates' Court of Victoria.
Outside of work, you can find Adam volunteering on numerous Boards and Committees in the local community. Such experiences have assisted Adam in building strong rapport and mutual trust and respect with individuals of all backgrounds and in highly stressful situations. Outside of the Board Room, you might spot Adam navigating Melbourne's culinary scene, consuming copious amounts of quality coffee or enjoying a fine wine with friends.
Georgina joined the MA Legal team in 2020 after an extended break from the work force, raising her two daughters.
She is a two time arts graduate majoring in Anthropology and Literature. Georgina has a keen interest in Law and is looking forward to immersing herself in the legal world.
Outside of work Georgina enjoys spending time with her children, reading and painting.
Georgina is hoping to further her interest in Law by one day adding to her skills and studying in the field.

Karina joined M A Legal as our Receptionist and Administration Assistant in 2020. She recently graduated from the University of Melbourne completing a Bachelor of Arts Majoring in Criminology and History.
Karina is a passionate, energetic and dynamic in both her work and personal life. She is highly motivated by the prospect of helping people with their legal needs and hopes to one day join the M A team as a practising lawyer.
When Karina isn't working, you will find her playing competitive netball for Melbourne University Lightning in the Victorian Netball League. She loves watching sport and supporting her beloved Collingwood, going out for dinner, hanging out with friends and when she gets a chance, visiting her family in her home town on the Victorian/NSW border.

Marta joined M A Legal with a passport full of stamps and a wealth of knowledge in criminal and immigration law. As a true testament to her ability to learn and adapt Marta quickly gained extensive commercial prowess.
She has quick wit and a fearless nature which results in quick and efficient results.
Marta is detail orientated and can draft any commercial document at a remarkable speed - though we question whether she actually sleeps as she seems to find twice as many hours in the day as everyone else, which she needs to keep up with her thriving social life and exercise regime.
If we had to choose, our favourite thing about Marta is her knowledge of literally every single restaurant in Melbourne. All that eating out may explain why she feels the need to get up every day at 5am to go to "F45", which we can only assume is code word for some sort of kale worshipping cult for attractive people.
Having worked at the London 2012 Olympics in athlete services, Marta will readily admit that her passion lies in sport - if only she had the hand eye co-ordination to match.

Ritu is an experienced accounts officer with a degree in Professional Accounting.
Prior to commencing her work at MA Legal she was employed as a Tax Consultant. Later in her career she developed passion and interest in bookkeeping which resulted in her attaining a Certificate IV in bookkeeping. Ritu is currently studying to become a Chartered Accountant.
In her spare time Ritu enjoys spending time with her family. She is also passionate about crafting and never misses a chance to watch crafting videos and learn new techniques.
