Anil Mammen

One of the Democratic Party's leading authorities on direct mail advertising, Anil Mammen has spent the past 28 years developing messaging and creating targeted communications for candidates, Party committees, initiative campaigns, labor unions and progressive causes. He's created mail in five presidential campaigns (Clinton 1996 General, Gore 2000 General, Gephardt 2004 Primary, Kerry 2004 General, Sanders 2016 Primary), dozens of Congressional races, and hundreds of state and municipal campaigns. Prior to becoming a direct mail consultant in 1993, Mammen was Director of Direct Mail Programs at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC). Before that, he worked on a number of campaigns at the local, state and federal levels. Anil was raised in Allentown, Pennsylvania, graduated from the Lawrenceville School in New Jersey, and Kenyon College in Ohio.

Aron Mujumdar

A Senior Account Executive with the firm, Aron has served as Campaign Manager or Finance Director for Democratic campaigns in Virginia, Florida, Maryland, and Alabama. He grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, graduated from Birmingham-Southern College, and received his J.D. from the University of Alabama. Before working on campaigns, he practiced law in Alabama and was a Professor of Law at Unity University College in Ethiopia. Aron lives on Capitol Hill with his wife, Vinita, and their daughter.

Eric Dehais

Eric Dehais directs our graphic design team. For over 25 years, he has been on the cutting edge of design and illustration for both print and digital advertising. He began his career in publishing at Scribners. During the early 1990's he worked with some of the top creative directors of New York ad agencies, including McCann Ericson, Ogilvy, Chiat/Day, and BBDO. In 1995, he moved to Hearst Magazines with publications as varied as Esquire, Town & Country, and Cosmopolitan. While at Hearst, he helped launch the first online versions of their magazines. Since 2001, he has pursued his passion for progressive politics by working for our firm, designing high-impact mail pieces and providing direction and guidance to our team of designers. Eric ensures we create pieces that communicate easily and effectively, so voters can absorb our essential message even if they glance at a piece for just a few seconds. Eric grew up in Greenwich, Connecticut and graduated from McGill University in Montreal.

Josh Schonwald

Josh Schonwald is a Senior Strategist with the firm. He's a writer and communications specialist with more than 25 years of experience developing effective messaging for Democratic candidates, party committees and progressive causes. He started his career in the early 90's as a copywriter for the pioneering direct mail firm of Malchow & Co. There he was a strategist for clients including the Democratic National Committee (DNC), Human Rights Campaign Fund, the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence, and NARAL. From there he went on to the DNC where he helped launch their first web site in 1995, and he was at the forefront of using the internet for political grassroots organizing. Josh is also an award-winning journalist and author of The Taste of Tomorrow: Dispatches from the Future of Food, published by HarperCollins. His writings have also appeared in a wide range of publications, including the Wall Street Journal, Slate, Time.com, and the New York Times. Raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Josh earned his B.A. in history from Macalester College and his M.S. from the Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism.

Rachel Lincoln

Rachel Lincoln brings her creative eye to our direct mail advertising. An award-winning photographer, she has been a critical part of our team since 2011. In addition to her work in political direct mail, she has a background shooting for magazines and commercial promotional materials.Rachel teaches introductory and advanced photography workshops to students in the DC area. She speaks Spanish and French. Rachel grew up in Nome, Alaska and Omaha, Nebraska, graduated from American University in Washington, DC and received her M.A. in Photojournalism from the Corcoran College of Art & Design.

Siobhan Roth

Siobhan Roth is a senior writer and researcher who develops strategic messaging for our political and corporate clients. An award-winning journalist with more than 20 years' experience, Siobhan began her career at NPR in Philadelphia. Her stories have appeared in publications as diverse as Legal Times, Smithsonian Magazine, and Playboy. She's a compelling storyteller who knows how to craft a powerful narrative for our clients and a credible case against our opponents. She graduated from Dickinson College in Pennsylvania and received her M.A. in creative writing from Johns Hopkins. Born and raised in Washington D.C., she lives in town with her husband, Joe Fiorill, and their two children. Siobhan is a long-time advocate for full D.C. voting rights in Congress.
