Anthony Xerri

Job Titles:
  • Accountant
Tony commenced work with Baguley and Associates in September 2003 (who Sage Business Group took over in 2011). Tony was initially part of a small working team of accountants, but now works in a much larger team at Sage Business Group doing standard Tax Returns and Management Accounting.

Chris Lee

Job Titles:
  • Accountant
Chris commenced work with Sage Business Group in September 2016 after finishing the three months internship, having graduated from his Bachelor Degree at Monash University. As a graduate accountant, he currently works closely with Kade for assisting him with the preparation of Financial Accounts and Tax Returns for Individual, Trust, Partnership and Company using the cloud accounting software Xero.

Corey Smith

Job Titles:
  • Graduate Accountant
Corey commenced work with Sage Business Group at the start of 2019 after completing his Bachelor's Degree at La Trobe University. He is proficient in the use of the accounting software Xero & Receipt Bank. Corey assists with the preparation of financial statements, tax returns and other reporting obligations.

Jason Wight

Job Titles:
  • Senior Accountant
Jason has had over 15 years experience in public practice in a variety of small to medium sized firms. He joined Baguley and Associates in November 2010 (who Sage Business Group took over in 2011) and works on all types of entity's from individuals and company's to Self Managed Superfunds.

Jenny Kemp

Job Titles:
  • Operations Manager
Jenny commenced work with Baguley and Associates in August 2008 (who Sage Business Group took over in 2011). Jenny took on a support role to the Accountants and Admin team at Macedon Street, with roles including ASIC registers, Company registers, Payroll and Business Activity Statements. After completing a Taxation course in 2009, she took on a greater role with Individual Taxation Returns. However, after the merge with Sage Business Group, Jenny has also taken on the role of Operations Leader which involves supporting our team with the day to day operations and ensuring our workflow systems and procedures are adhered to. This very important role ensures that our clients continue to receive a high quality of work whilst maintaining our high standards on turnaround time.

Kade Tronson

Job Titles:
  • Accountant
Kade commenced work with Sage Business Group in 2014 having graduated with a Bachelor degree in Commerce from Swinbourne University. Since commencing Kade has undertaken extensive training in the area of cloud accounting and is a specialist in Xero Software.

Liz Tomlinson

Job Titles:
  • Client Services Co - Ordinator
Liz joined our team in 2008 to take on the role of Client Services Co-ordinator. Prior to commencing at Sage Business Group, Liz worked for 7 years in the accounts payable & payroll dept of an Australia wide retail chain. Liz is responsible for workflow management and for corporate compliance, maintaining ASIC registers, company registers, trust deeds and workcover. Liz works closely with our accounting team, liaising not only with our clients, but with the ATO, ASIC, Workcover and the State Revenue Office.

Lynda Parsons

Job Titles:
  • Marketing Manager
Prior to commencing employment with Sage Business Group, Lynda worked for QIC, as the Marketing Manager for Woodgrove Shopping Centre. Her previous experience of 10 years was with Fairfax Community Newspapers as Advertising Manager. Lynda joined Sage Business Group in June 2012, as the Marketing Manager and is responsible for all aspects of marketing, communications and events.

Melissa Osborne

Melissa has recently celebrated 20 years of working at Sage Business Group after joining the team in June 1997, and handles a range of roles including Human Resources Manager, Administration Manager and Finance Manager. Prior to working at Sage Business Group, Melissa worked in an administration/bookkeeping role firstly with Murray Goulburn in Cobram and then Kraft Foods Victorian Sales office in Melbourne. Melissa loves having family time with her three grown daughters and husband Michael.

Michael Osborne

Michaels' 30 years of experience as an accountant in public practice, the legal profession and the import/robotics industry has fuelled a passion in helping businesses achieve their true potential in relation to growing, improving profitability & cash flow and ultimately enhancing the owners' lifestyle. He also has a strong interest in property investment and works with clients to generate investment opportunities. A father of three girls, Michael is always keen to spend time with his family. Michael loves the outdoors and enjoys pursuits such as water skiing and trekking, completing personal goals such as trekking the Kokoda Track in 2009 and Mount Everest

Raelene Furness

Prior to joining Sage Business Group in September 2016, Raelene worked at VIP Automotive Solutions Pty Ltd for 14 years. Her duties included the day to day running of the business, including bookkeeping, customer service and office management.

Prior to commencing at Sage Business Group, Stacey worked at Toll Customised Solutions in administration. Stacey previously worked as a Settlement Manager for a Finance Broker in Melbourne. Stacey is responsible for workflow management.

Tim McCarthy

Job Titles:

Tim has over 16 years experience in dealing with small to medium sized businesses in helping establish asset protection structures, wealth creation strategies and business development systems. Tim commenced employment on a part time basis in 1996 while completing uni at RMIT, then full time from the beginning of 1997. Tim enjoys spending time with wife Melissa and children Chelsea, Sophie and Josh, playing cricket for the mighty Romsey Cricket Club and being involved in community projects through the Lancefield & Romsey Community Bendigo Bank.

Vanessa Riggio

Vanessa joined our team in January 2014, to take on the role of the Client Services Co-ordinator for our SMSF clients. Prior to commencing with Sage Business Group, Vanessa worked as a Property Manager for 2.5 years with an Estate Agent in Sunbury. Vanessa now works closely with Angela Reissis, liaising with not only her SMSF clients but with our auditor, banks, conveyancers and solicitors.
