Angie joined the firm in December 2022. She has more than 25 years of experience in accounting and tax from her time spent working at a small CPA firm. She received her bachelor's degree in accounting from Miami University and is a Certified Public Accountant. Angie's favorite part about being an accountant is supporting the clients and their tax situations. Being involved in the ever-changing tax laws is rewarding and challenging when planning for positive tax results. Angie resides in New Albany with her teenage son, Max. Annie joined the firm in August, 2022. She has over 10 years of customer service and management experience. While she has worked in optometry for the last several years, she is excited to learn a new trade and assist the office in maintaining and improving their administrative processes. Dave joined the firm in October, 2021. Dave brings a different perspective to Mark P. Murphy & Associates, spending the first 15 years of his career as a golf professional, managing the ins and outs of the Marion Country Club Golf Course. His finance degree from Franklin University, coupled with his love of golf enabled him to oversee the success of the golf shop and course. It is easy to see why Dave's transition to Mark P. Murphy & Associates was smooth, as his main focus has been working with small business clients, helping with both tax and accounting services. He has assisted clients in the area of Real Estate, Insurance, Medical Industry and the Food and Beverage Industries.
As a hands-on manager in the accounting industry for the past 14 years, Dave prides himself in client relations, follow through, and creative problem solving. His areas of expertise are in tax preparation, financial reporting and QuickBooks with extensive experience in managing and supervising tax, accounting and auditing services for his clients. Lynne joined the firm in October, 2016 after owing her own firm for nine years. She has over 30 years of experience in accounting and tax with various businesses ranging from a small CPA firm to financial reporting for Wendy's International. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Miami University and is a Certified Public Accountant. She is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Rose joined the firm in July 2023. She has 10 years of public accounting experience, specializing in tax preparation and planning for individuals, businesses and trusts. She received her bachelor's degree in accounting from Capital University in 2013 and is a Certified Public Accountant. She is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
