A. Leah Vickers

A. Leah Vickers has represented plaintiffs and defendants in litigation covering a broad range of matters, including disputes concerning contracts, insurance, labor and employment, intellectual property, false advertising, and antitrust. She represents clients in all stages of litigation, from pre-complaint investigation through appeals. Leah has extensive experience working on cases involving new and evolving fields, including life sciences, mortgage-backed securities, and electronic trading. Leah served as a law clerk to the Honorable William H. Walls of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Before joining Mandel Bhandari LLP, Leah was counsel at Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler. While at Patterson she represented several plaintiffs in mortgaged-backed securities litigations that resulted in settlements totaling over a billion dollars. Donald Conklin

Don Conklin has experience representing companies and individuals in state and federal court in a wide range of disputes, including corporate dissolution matters, breach of contract cases, and insurance and reinsurance litigation and arbitration. He has represented clients at all stages of litigation, from pre-litigation counseling through appeals.

Evan Mandel

For more than seventeen years, Evan has been litigating business disputes and civil rights cases in New York. He co-founded Mandel Bhandari LLP to serve clients who need trial and appellate lawyers whose compensation is tied to the result of the case. He has conducted twenty trials and arbitrations and argued numerous appeals. Evan has obtained many seven- and eight-figure settlements and judgments, including a $55 million settlement. Evan's clients include both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of civil suits, including antitrust, civil rights, contract, employment, false advertising, deceptive trade practices, fraud, intellectual property, shareholder derivative, real estate, insurance coverage, and legal malpractice cases. His clients range in size from Fortune 500 companies to individuals. He often represents other lawyers. Before founding the Firm, Evan practiced law at Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP, where he served on the hiring and pro bono committees. Evan also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Nicholas G. Garaufis, United States District Judge for the Eastern District of New York. While in law school, he served as the Training Director of the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau. Rishi Bhandari

Rishi Bhandari is a partner at Mandel Bhandari LLP, which he co-founded. He is an experienced litigator and problem solver. Rishi is a highly respected trial attorney who frequently takes cases just weeks or months before trial. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers magazine as a Rising Star from 2011-2014 and as a Super Lawyer from 2015 onward. He is certified as a Trial Advocacy Teacher by NITA and has been selected by the National Trial Lawyers as a member of the Top 100. Rishi has been lead counsel or co-lead counsel in more than 25 lawsuits and arbitrations that have resulted in judgments or settled on very favorable terms shortly before or after opening statements. Rishi has achieved outstanding results for his clients, including a jury verdict that was more than nine times larger than the defendants' final settlement offer and another jury verdict that was $7 million more than the defendant's final settlement offer. Rishi has won judgments or settled cases with claims worth well over $100 million. Rishi has also devoted considerable time to public interest causes. He was a Teach for America Corps member and teacher in Baltimore and Washington, D.C. and worked for the Democratic National Committee's voter protection unit. Robert Glunt

Robert Glunt is an experienced trial lawyer who regularly tries cases in the state and federal courts of New York, often taking on clients just weeks before trial. Robert has particular experience in business litigation, including partnership disputes, contract enforcement, fraud, and complex litigation involving structured financial products or new technologies. He also gladly represents employees who have been mistreated because of race, gender, pregnancy, or whistleblower status. Robert embraces innovative billing solutions - including contingency, blended, and success fee arrangements - that align his interests with those of his clients. Robert served as a law clerk to the Honorable Dickinson R. Debevoise of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
