Dr Jawad graduated in 2014 from the University of Birmingham (UK).
As a member of the Royal College of Physicians, he has further qualifications in General Medicine and chronic disease management. He has particular interests in Preventative Health, Men's Health, Paediatrics, Elderly Care and Anxiety/ Depression in young adults.
Dr Jawad also regularly cares for patients who have experienced car and workplace incidents, and can help you on your path to getting back to work safely.
Dr Jawad prides himself on explaining medical problems to patients in a way that is easily comprehensible. He enjoys collaborating with patients in order to empower them in making informed decisions about their own health.
In his spare time, he is a Brazilian jiu jitsu practitioner and is a big advocate for meditation.
Dr Amin Shaabani was born in Tehran, Iran and speaks English, Persian and a little Arabic. Dr Shaabani practiced medicine for more than 8 years in Tehran and his special interests include Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Psychiatry. Dr Shaabani feels that becoming a doctor has given him the chance to help people in need, and loves medicine and helping to save lives. He is available to see you from our West Gosford practice.
In his spare time, Dr Shaabani enjoys swimming, visiting friends and scenic walks.

Dr Aye Aung works at both the West Gosford and Wyong practices. She has a very loyal and kind personality, and creates a warm and welcoming environment wherever she goes. Dr Aung's patients regularly give feedback to the clinic about how much they love her, and how knowledgeable she is.

Dr Diana Said was born in Cairo, and speaks both Arabic and English. Dr Said became a doctor in 2008 and arrived in Australia with her family in 2015.
Dr Said's main interests are in Women's health, mental health, paediatric disorders, autism and ADHD.
Dr Said works at our West Gosford and Umina practices but outside of work you will find Dr Said reading, jogging or painting.

Dr Maranan joined Reliance in 2018, and is passionate about what he does. He enjoys getting to the bottom of challenging and interesting cases and speaks both Tagalog and English.
Dr Magdy Abdou was born in Egypt and speaks both Arabic and English.
Dr Abdou became a doctor because he wanted to help people. For the last 20 years he has practiced medicine, the first 12 years in Egypt and a further 8 years and counting here in Australia. In his spare time, you would find him playing one of many sports.
Dr Abdou works at our West Gosford practice and says he chooses to practice at Reliance because our priority is always high quality care and we have excellent team work.

Dr Phil Myers graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 1994 and a Diploma in Child Health in 1996. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 1998 and has been practising ever since.
Dr Myers followed his passion and has been studying Nutritional and Functional medicine since 2003. He completed a Certificate in Training at the MINDD Foundation in 2006 and gained his Certificate in Integrative Medicine through the University of Queensland in 2009.
Dr Myers works at our West Gosford practice and has had great success in treating long term illnesses using his understanding of nutrition and holistic medicine.

Dr Sylvia Oliveira was born in the Philipines and speaks both Tagalog and English.
Dr Oliveira was exposed to the medical field at a very young age and was inspired by her mother, who is also a doctor.
Dr Oliveira started practising medicine in 2000 and worked in Emergency Medicine in the Philippines until 2005. She moved to Australia and spent a further 7 years working first at Hornsby Hospital then Wyong Hospital, prior to joining Reliance in 2019.
Dr Oliviera works at our West Gosford and Umina Beach practices but in her spare time she enjoys playing tennis and going to the gym, as well as watching movies and reading.
Dr Sylvia Oliveira is available at the following locations
Dr Tara Rawat was born in India, speaks both English and Hindi fluently, and can also understand Urdu and Punjabi.
In 2007 Dr Rawat achieved her Fellowship in Respiratory Medicine in India, and worked in hospital Emergency and Psychiatry Departments after moving to Australia in 2014.
Some of Dr Rawat's most challenging experiences include working in Intensive Care, Organ Transplant Teams and caring for patients who were suffering from severe sepsis and under advanced life support.
Dr Rawat works at our Wyong and Bellbird practices but outside of work she enjoys gardening, travelling and cooking.

A highly experienced and passionate manager of people and services, Julie is focused on providing a level of care in all Reliance practices that is second to none.
Julie has been in management roles within the medical industry for over a decade and is passionate about the welfare of children worldwide. She currently supports children overseas and in Australia, making a substantial difference in their lives.
Julie enjoys time with her grandchildren and family, coffee, movies and being outdoors.
Since arriving in Australia 6 years ago, Dr Sam Elmi has lived in Melbourne, Brisbane, Bundaberg and Newcastle and now works at our Umina Beach practice. Originating from Iran, Dr Elmi can speak an amazing five different languages (English, Farsi, French, Italian and some German).
