RSR

In addition to routine monitoring, the RSR is responsible for investigating rail safety incidents, seeking out the root causes of major incidents so that protocols can be established to prevent reoccurrence. We don't just investigate why incidents occur, we actively implement procedures to stop them from happening again... The greatest number of rail incidents results from the close proximity of residential communities adjacent to the rail network. The RSR is committed to the safety of communities as a high-priority matter... We create a conducive environment that allows for the sharing and implementation of new ideas in line with the goals of the RSR.
