The Star Hotel-Motel Rutherglen was established in 1860. We offer 6 affordable and comfortable motel units which can be used as a home base to explore the local Rutherglen Wine Region as well as surrounding areas like Beechworth and King Valley... Established in 1860 and is run by Lee-Anne and Phill, we have two separate bars, and an open fireplace to keep everyone cosy on those cold winter days. Three large screens to cater for all of our football enthusiasts, or just looking to have a punt on the horses... My bestie and I had a girls' weekend away to the Rutherglen. We arrived to a warm and welcoming hotel with neat and clean room with a car park out the front of the room. Beautiful rainfall shower! Paul and Robyn were wonderful hosts and we felt like family. Great wine and beer on tap.
