Carl Stang: With 30 years of oil and gas experience, Carl earned a BA degree in Earth Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 1977. He began his oil and gas career doing well site work in the Middle East. In 1980, Carl joined Sun Oil Company as a development geologist. Via spin offs and mergers (Oryx Energy, Kerr-McGee Corporation and Anadarko), Carl has 26 years of continuous service having become a prolific initiator of exploratory and development drilling prospects. He retired from Anadarko in 2007. Carl is now the Vice President of Geosciences for Campanero Energy Holdings, LLC.
Mike Elliott: After graduating from Texas Tech University in 1978 with a BS degree in petroleum engineering, Mike began his career with Sun Oil Company in Midland, Texas. Mike saw 28 years of continuous service with Sun, Oryx Energy and Kerr-McGee Corporation (via spin offs and mergers) holding various positions. These included working as an operations engineer, reservoir engineer, various supervisory positions and culminating as being named the Director of South Texas Assets (supervising 20 technical professionals and managing an asset base of 100 MMCFPDE). In 2006, Mike retired from Kerr-McGee and is now the Vice President of Engineering with Campanero Energy Holdings, LLC.
Tommy Drescher: A Petroleum Engineering graduate of the University of Texas (BS: 1975, MS: 1977), Tommy began his career in the oil and gas business when he joined Sun Oil Company as an operations engineer in 1977. Through spin offs and mergers, Tommy had 29 years of continuous service with Sun, Oryx Energy and Kerr-McGee Corporation. Tommy has held several reservoir engineering management positions and has led Business Development organizations since 1991. In 2006, Tommy retired from Kerr-McGee and joined Campanero Energy Holdings, LLC as Vice President of Business Development. Tommy is now the President of Campanero.
