From an early age, Brad envisioned himself as an Architect. Part of that vision included exposure to other cultures and fields of study. To that end, he has studied in New Orleans, Seattle, Paris and Sydney, covering an undergraduate degree in painting and a Masters in Architecture.
Brad enjoys a collaborative approach, working closely with other trades and his clients to achieve inspired and unique solutions to every project. In his 30+ years of architectural design, Brad has worked on projects from San Francisco Victorians to contemporary, modern homes and is drawn to projects that demand creative and practical responses to meet the clients' needs and styles.
Brad Hubbell and his wife and designer, Suzanne Daily, incorporated Hubbell Daily Architecture + Design in 2003. HDA has a growing, varied body of projects throughout the Bay Area.

Brian owned and operated McLeran Roofing Company for over 40 years. His father, Charles E. McLeran adopted the motto, "Dependable Roofing Service" when he established McLeran Roofing in Larkspur in 1929. Charles' simple motto has been the guiding principle of the company since its early days. Brian learned the trade from his father and took over daily operation in 1978. McLeran Roofing grew over the years under Brian's leadership, but the core belief in quality workmanship, product knowledge and customer service remains a company tradition. McLeran Roofing is a charter member of the Marin Builders Exchange.
Brian worked with the Marin Builders Association and Marin Sanitary Service to establish the Roof to Roads recycling program for roofing materials.

Professional: Casey is the President of Mazzoni & Associates, Inc., a boutique consulting firm. They specialize in public affairs and advocacy. Their current client list includes local companies with advocacy needs in education, resource management, health care and land use.
Accomplishments/Community Service/Volunteer Activities: Casey graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting and an emphasis in News Production. Casey is the Chair of the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Committee.
Personal: Casey lives in the city of Sonoma with her husband Riche and their dog Lilah. In her free time Casey enjoys traveling, food and wine, anything outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.

Role: Christine is responsible for the business development of the Marin Builders Association. She works to develop and implement outreach to new members while enhancing our current members' understanding of our services. Christine assists with marketing and the successful coordination of events and programs.
Professional: Prior to arriving at the Marin Builders Association, Christine worked in property management for Lipnosky Real Estate, LLC of the East Bay, East Blithedale Associates of Mill Valley and The Shorenstein Company of San Francisco. Her property management background has expanded her understanding and appreciation of the construction industry and its impact on the community. She prides herself in her ability to communicate, problem solve and impact change.
Accomplishments/Community Service/Volunteer Activities: Christine has an undergraduate degree from the University of California at Los Angeles. She graduated magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in Economics.
Personal: Christine grew up in San Francisco but has lived in Terra Linda for over 25 years. She is the proud mother of two adult sons, Trevor and Matthew.

Clare has been a member of Marin Builders since 2017 and she currently co-chairs our Building Women Group. With over 23 years of design and project management experience for kitchen and bath remodeling, Clare creates tasteful, comfortable interiors with a specialization of open, natural, and functional kitchens and bathrooms.
"How my clients and business is served has much to do with nine years working in village development with the Institute of Cultural Affairs on three continents with my family in tow. The mosaic of cultural images, tribal habits, religious traditions became embedded in my personal journey opening the door to thinking more inclusively", says Clare.

Role: Gabriela is responsible for ensuring a well oiled process of communication between members and staff. Her role consists of various administrative and marketing duties, such as, reception, online plan room maintenance, website updating, etc.
Professional: Gabriela comes from a customer service, sales and marketing background, having worked most recently as a concierge at The Carneros Resort & Spa in Napa. She enjoys being of service to her community while building and nurturing relationships.
Accomplishments/Community Service/Volunteer Activities: Gabriela received an undergraduate degree from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Spanish. As a former Girl Scout co-leader she helped her troop grow for 13 years from young kindergartners to leaders in high school.
Personal: Gabriela was born in Buenos Aries, Argentina and she is fluent in Spanish. She has been married to her partner-in-crime, Bill Shea for 30 years. They are fortunate to have two lovely children, Brenton (28) and Jillian (25). The Sheas are long time residents of Marin and they have enjoyed living in Marinwood for over 25 years. Some of her favorite pastimes include Zumba, yoga, hiking, cooking, socializing with friends, and traveling.

Kim Pace graduated from University of California, Davis in Environmental Design and has always had a passion for architecture, design, creating community, hospitality and sustainability. Kim led global Marketing and Client Service Teams for Fortune 100 Clients and start-ups for several years but found her niche while developing private real estate and a restaurant in Mexico. She launched Fresh Coat Painters Marin in 2020 and is ranked within the Top 25 of over 100 Fresh Coat locations in the United States. Kim created 'Doors of Hope' to offer painting front doors and donating a portion to local Marin charities. She served as a Board Member for Family Works for five years, volunteers for Big Brother Big Sister of North Bay and is a member of BNI Network 54.

Role: Matt is responsible for coordinating & supervising the North Bay Construction Corps.
Professional: Matt is a retired Battalion Chief. Matt spent his fire department career as a training officer as well as fighting fires and responding to medical calls. In the past 11 years of retirement, he has volunteered in the MarinSEL Engineering program at Terra Linda High School helping teach high school students how to utilize tools, design plans and build projects.
Accomplishments/Community Service/Volunteer Activities: Matt has been a youth sailing instructor at the Richmond Yacht Club for the past 11 years. He also still volunteers in the MarinSEL Engineering class when needed. He also serves as a volunteer for Jessica's Haven Dog Rescue which supports adults with special abilities by transporting rescue dogs or volunteering at their fundraiser.
Personal: Matt was born and raised in Marin County. He currently lives in Terra Linda with his wife and has five grown children and six grandchildren. In Matt's free time he loves to fish, build things, sail and travel with family and friends.
Favorite Part about Working with the Marin Builders Association: Matt is new to the Marin Builders Association Team this year. He is looking forward to his first year coordinating the North Bay Construction Corps program.

Michelle is a proud Marin Native with a love for business, building, design, and creating. She started her career in mortgage banking and real estate and continues to be a player in the RE industry, maintaining an active broker's license today. Always looking to tackle new business challenges, Michelle saw an opportunity in hospitality in the early 2000s. She owned and operated 3 Marin County restaurants before making her pivot into construction. In 2008, Michelle joined her husband, Dave, at Whiteside Construction- a company he founded in 1986. She is a c-level executive who has been instrumental in the continued growing success of the business. Michelle's passion for building her community and helping others is the foundation of her career in construction.

Nicole is CEO of GreenLynx, a C21 and General B contractor, and reuse facility in Santa Rosa. She began reclaiming materials from commercial TI jobs in San Francisco while working for her grandfather and mother. Since then, she has overseen over 200 construction, deconstruction and salvage projects around the Bay Area and New York.
Nicole has also worked for non-profits focused on the environment and Native American youth. Nicole is Chair of the Reuse Alliance, founded the Bay Area Deconstruction Workgroup, and she organized the new "Building Women" group of Marin Builders Association.
Nicole graduated from UC Berkeley with a BS in Conservation Resources and Native American Studies, and UC Davis with an MS in Community Development. Nicole is married and lives in Novato with her two children.
Role: Responsible for management of front office and staff. Perform all administrative duties including membership dues billing, AR/AP, member events coordination, Scholarship Program and seminars. In addition, I provide assistance and support to the Marin Builders Association Board, committees, staff, accountant, bookkeeper, members and business partners.

Renee Norman, a proud native of Marin County, is a passionate lumber saleswoman who thrives on the dynamics of the lumber and construction industry. He holds multiple professional certifications in organizational management and serves on several boards and commissions across the Bay Area.
Personal: Rick lives in Novato with his wife and two children. He grills a decent dinner, bakes a locally acclaimed pecan pie, works on projects around his home, and plays the occasional round of golf with his son.

In collaboration with the Board of Directors, Rick is responsible for the leadership of the Marin Builders Association. He manages all strategic planning, program development, and finances. Rick specializes in building effective organizational structure and creating sustainable initiatives.
Rick served as President and CEO of the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce and Vallejo Chamber of Commerce. He holds degrees from UC Davis and Presidio Graduate School. Rick serves on several local Boards in Marin County.

Rob Walker, founder of UpCycle Builders, Inc., is a fourth generation San Francisco builder. Rob worked for several years as a carpenter for a high-end contractor in San Francisco before founding UpCycle Builders, Inc.. A graduate with honors in Finance and Statistics from the University of Southern California, Rob worked as an equity trader for a large investment bank, and later in investor relations. Prior to USC, Rob attended San Francisco University High School.

Sean Kelly is the owner of Lamperti Contracting and Design. Lamperti has been in Marin since 1965. Sean was first involved with Lamperti as a sub contractor and then took over ownership in 2005. He has been in the construction business in Marin since starting his first company, Elite Builders in 1990. He is actively involved in every aspect of the business. Seth Shorett is a commercial banker with Umpqua Bank in their San Francisco Bay Area Corporate Banking division. He specializes in financing companies in the building trades, as well as commercial real estate lending. In addition to his work with the Marin Builders Association, Seth also volunteers with North Marin Community Services and the Novato Chamber. He lives in Novato with his wife, a Special Education Teacher, and his two young children. When Seth gets a free moment, you'll find him camping, hiking, off-roading, or working on his trucks.
