BURR OAK GARDENS

Burr Oak Gardens, LLC is a Certified Organic vegetable farm and retail greenhouse in Rio, WI. Our farm uses sustainable practices to produce wonderful vegetables and a few annual fruits that are suitable for growing in Wisconsin. We are always astonished by what mother nature does with a little rain, a little soil, and a lot of light... We provide Certified Organic produce to the general public through our farm stand and at our market booth at the Dane County Farmers' Market and at the Sun Prairie Farmers' Market. Produce is available mid-July through late-October at both markets and from November-early March at the Dane County Farmers' Market's Holiday and Late Winter Markets... We have a full line of annual bedding plants for both sun and shade. All plants are grown from seed here on our farm. We do not spray any chemicals, instead we use beneficial insects and other cultural controls to manage pests and diseases.
