I could write something like "Award-winning Graphic Designer and Art Director experienced with Corporate Identity, Print collateral, Web and Multimedia" and that would be true, but I would never explain myself like that... I would rather just tell anyone, everyone, how I like texture and LOVE color. I would say everything needs to be kerned, and I never rely on Photoshop to do it. From there, I would spin into a story about how I learned to set type by hand when I was 14 years old, which was also when I learned how to run a single color offset press. Then I would explain how that brought me into design, which after school landed me in TV. I would probably then launch into my belief that every designer should spend a year working in TV because it teaches good typography, but more so forces designers to become decisive..... That would continue on into how I've been so lucky, in my current position, to have the opportunity to teach new designers and also have the opportunity to rebrand..
