Chuck Savinetti - Treasurer

Following a career in the public water industry than spanned more than 30 years to the Locust Valley Water District, Chuck Savinetti was elected in December 2021 by the community to serve on the Board of Water Commissioners. After joining the District in 1988 as a Laborer and Water Plant Operator, through experience, education and his commitment to excellence, Chuck rose to the position of District Superintendent. Commissioner Savinetti is a lifelong resident of Locust Valley, where he and his wife Victoria raised their two children. His commitment to the community is exemplified by his membership in the Locust Valley Fire Department, the Nassau Suffolk Water Commissioners' Association and his participation as a trustee of the Long Island Water Conference.

Patricia Peterson - Chairman

A resident of Locust Valley, Patricia Petersen brings to the Board of Commissioners extensive knowledge and experience in both Long Island's water supply industry and banking. Having been a member of the Long Island Water Conferences for more than a decade, she presently serves as President of the Nassau Suffolk Water Commissioners' Association. It here that she works with both local government and industry leaders to ensure that our local water districts adhere to the ever evolving state and federal regulatory agency water quality standards. As a member of the Board of Governors of the New York State Government Finance Officers Association, Mrs. Peterson participates on its Banking & Investment Management and Annual Conference Committee. Her experience as a member of the Long Island Water Conference, coupled with a career in banking where she has served on audit, compliance and advocacy committees, makes her a uniquely qualified to serve as a District Commissioner. Mrs. Peterson couples her experience in both the banking and water supply industry to ensure that our residents are provided with the highest quality of drinking water in a fiscally prudent manner.

Peter Brown

In his commitment to public service, Peter Brown has a long history as an active member of the Locust Valley community, where he has lived his entire life. As the Director of Highway Operations for the Town of Oyster Bay, he brings more than 30 years' experience in heavy construction, road maintenance, and repair. Peter has volunteered his time as a coach and travel team manager for the Grenville Baker Boys and Girls Club and the Bayville/Locust Valley Little League where he sat on the Board of Directors. He also served as head coach for the St. Gertrude's Church CYO basketball team. He is an exempt member of the Bayville Fire Company, where he served for 10 years as a volunteer firefighter. Peter and his wife Pam are proud parents of their son Kyle.
