Andrea Marmolejo

Andrea Marmolejo is an impact investing and sustainability expert, founder and Managing Partner at Blue Topaz Capital, where she specializes in integrated financial, environmental and social investment and corporate strategy. Andrea advised the World Bank on their impact investing strategy in South Asia and East Africa, developed financial products for investors pursuing values-led investments, and advised Fortune 500 corporations looking to align their corporate and social innovation strategy with SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). Throughout her career, Andrea set up and managed thematic investment funds, developed growth strategies for PE-backed businesses and managed private equity and hedge fund portfolios for funds such as Regency Capital and Caxton Associates. Prior to her investment roles, Andrea was Head of Latin American Utilities Research at Goldman Sachs and a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Co. Andrea is a Harvard MPA, and she serves as member of the Investment Committee at the Lankelly Chase Foundation and as board member and Trustee at the International HIV/AIDS Alliance.

Angus Sladen

After university in the United States, Angus joined in the mid 1970's the Lloyd's broker Sedgwick Forbes (now part of Marsh) specialising in Oil and Gas business. Later he moved into the syndicate managing agency business, and was the CEO of Marlborough Underwriting Agency Ltd and its predecessor from the late 1980's until 2000 (managing four syndicates) when the business was sold to Aviva. Angus was also a director of an American owned managing agent which had ceased active underwriting and helped manage its complicated run off over several years until a successful closure. He is currently a director of Duncanson & Holt Europe Ltd and Duncanson & Holt Underwriters Ltd, two subsidiaries of the same American company. He has been a member of Lloyd's since 1978, and now has his own corporate member.

Arnaud Rousse-Lacordaire

Arnaud started his professional career in the corporate treasury department of chemical and pharmaceutical group Rhône Poulenc as an assistant treasurer. He then joined credit insurer COFACE in charge of managing Foreign Exchange guarantees for the private sector (CIME). From 1995 onwards, Arnaud accumulated more than 20 years of marketing experience in the financial industry. Arnaud was in charge of FX & Options sales to corporates for HSBC Paris (1995-1998), NatWest - RBS Royal Bank of Scotland (1998-2000) and Dresdner Bank London and Paris as Head of Sales for France After a stint in journalism in 2005 and 2006, covering "Eco finance" for Paris headquartered «Jeune Afrique», the most widely read French-language pan-African news magazine, Arnaud created Cloud Nine, a capital raising and fund distribution business working with firms such as Luxembourg based Bellatrix Asset Management and Harvest Convertible fund.

Christian Mayer

Christian started his career in 1989 as an equity sales person for Girozentrale und Bank der Österreichischen Sparkassen AG, an Austrian investment bank. From 1992 until 1995 he was a board member of a private bank, being responsible for business development. In 1995 Christian teamed up with two of his colleagues from the investment bank to found SMN Investment Services, an Alternative Investment management firm, specialised in quantitative trading strategies. From the start of SMN until 2014 Christian was on the management board of the company. In addition to his responsibilities for investor relations and operations he acted as the speaker of the management board. SMN was one of the first companies in Austria to become a licensed AIFM in 2014. During this transition Christian decided to shift his role and become an active strategic advisor to SMN's management team contributing his experience and widespread relationships. Christian has been acting for several years as a board member of ÖSWB, an association of institutional investors in Austria.

Edouard Bridel

Edouard has 28 years expertise in the banking industry. He led the buyout of the UK bank "Bank and Clients PLC" from Virgin Entreprises in 2014 and was then for 7 years Head of Business Development and Board member, based in London and Montreal. He developed an expertise in structured finance transactions including intellectual property rights, trade receivables and inventories. Co-founded Ocean Capital in 2002, an FCA regulated asset manager focused on structuring, arranging and lending to medium to large companies in Europe and North America. These financings have enabled clients to access in excess of £22 billion of total financing. In 1996, he co-founded Forum Capital, a regulated specialist investment bank focused on mergers & acquisitions, leveraged buyouts (‘‘LBO'') and balance sheet restructuring, primarily in Europe and Canada. Edouard started his career in 1993 in the mergers and acquisitions department of Société Générale in London.

Eric has over 40 years of experience as chartered accountant and certified statutory auditor with a speciality in Private Banking, Fund Management companies, regulated and non-regulated funds, Insurance companies, the press sector, family offices and family owned businesses. Professional experience was acquired at Cabinet THOMAS & ASSOCIES form 1974 to 2002, which became part of MAZARS Group in 2002 and where Eric continued to work until December 2016. He also serves as CEO and President of Auvergne & Bourgogne SAS, a French-based investment holding company with a bias to supporting start-up and small and medium-sized enterprises with high growth and regional social impact contribution potential. Education in business administration and management at IEA Paris. Executive Programs Certificate at J.L. Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. Philippe's first professional role was with CIIB in Paris in 1987, a financial engineering firm that specialised in IPOs of small and mid-cap companies on the French market. In 1988 he went on to work for Boscher SA, a leading brokerage and asset management firm in Paris, as a sales-trader in their listed stock option department, as a listed derivative trader on the MATIF and then as head of the CAC stock index derivative team. In 1989, Philippe joined Fimat, a Societe Generale business, to help set up the London office as part of their international expansion. He was responsible for creating and developing the listed options business and subsequently ran the Financials front office activities in London. In 1999 he established the Alternative Investment Solutions division, providing high value prime brokerage services to alternative investment participants. Following the merger between Fimat and Calyon Financial in January 2008, Philippe took on the role of Head of the Prime Brokerage Group for Newedge. In December 2009, after merging with Newedge Alternative Investment Group he became Global Head of Prime Brokerage and Chairman of the Prime Brokerage Board with teams of professionals based in Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, Geneva, Paris, London, New York, Chicago and San Francisco. Pierre-Edouard Coiffard

Pierre-Edouard has over 20 years of experience in asset management with a speciality in alternative investment strategies. He has 360-degree competencies, including investment management, business development & strategy, product development, designing innovative bespoke end-to-end investment solutions for investors, operations and to a lesser degree compliance. Before founding consulting firm Bucephale Consult, he held the position of executive director, market manager at J.P. Morgan Bank Luxembourg, a leading provider in the Luxembourg market. He was a member of the senior management team of the bank responsible for the global development strategy and was in charge of advising managers of traditional global funds, as well as hedge and private equity funds on their Luxembourg product strategy. Before his function at J.P. Morgan, Stefan held a number of senior positions at Citigroup and State Street. He was based in Brussels, London, Dublin, Amsterdam, Hong Kong and Singapore before becoming a resident of Luxembourg in 2001. Timothy Bell has over 30 years of investment experience in asset management and investment banking. He worked at Lazard Brothers from 1984 to 1992, and J.P. Morgan from 1992 to 1999 during which time he gained experience in corporate finance and wealth management. He joined UBS Wealth Management in 1999 where he built the alternative investment capabilities from a conceptual idea into a multi-billion dollar business, holding the positions of Global Head of Hedge Fund Advisory and Chairman of the Hedge Fund Investment Committee with responsibility for approving hedge funds for use within UBS Wealth Management on a global basis. He and had extensive involvement in the private equity business of the Wealth Management Division. He founded Swinbrook Partners in 2016.
