A.Lloyd-Jones & Son was established in 1945 by Arthur Lloyd-Jones. Arthur came to Retford, Nottinghamshire during the Second World War from North Wales to work in the Ranskill munitions factory. He decided to stay in Retford after the war and start his own plumbing business from 18 Bridgegate in the heart of Retford, Nottinghamshire, which continues to be run from the same address today. Arthur's son Howard joined the business in 1960 on leaving school. In July 2010, A. Lloyd-Jones & Son became a limited company with Howard becoming Managing Director. In June 2011 Chris Woodhead became a director and co-owner of the company. Howard has now retired and Chris Woodhead is now owner and managing director of the company...
