CENTRAL BAPTIST CHURCH & CHRISTIAN SCHOOL

Central Baptist Church began as a vision in the hearts and minds of some dedicated believers from Bell Shoals Baptist Church in the mid and late sixties. The church body was constituted in 1967... Though the church had its challenges through the years, it grew in number and ministries. As a result, the need for a larger sanctuary and more education space arose. In 1974, the current worship center and office space was erected... In 1980, the church got behind the vision for Central Baptist Christian School, a ministry of Central Baptist Church. As many Christians schools do, it began as a daycare program and blossomed forth to its present state of k3-12th grade. Our High School and Middle School are fully accredited through the prestigious ACTS accrediting agency and NCSPA. CBCS is an active member of ACSI, HCCEA, FASBC and SBACS.
