Texas Tech University's High Performance Computing Center (HPCC) was established in 1999 to promote research and teaching on campus through integrating leading-edge high performance computing and visualization for the faculty, staff and students of Texas Tech University... The HPCC also supports research computing-related data storage directly related to the use of the high speed equipment that we operate, and network transfers within and beyond the campus to facilitate data movement among and between such resources. A large amount of common data storage is made available for general-purpose computing to support use of the clusters. Dedicated storage beyond these amounts can be purchased on an annual or pre-paid basis by individual research groups... The HPCC staff provides consulting and assistance to campus researchers with advanced computational software and/or hardware needs. We also provide training in parallel and grid computing as used at the facility, and administration for..
