Academic exchanges. On one hand, the center keeps maintaining close liaison with the domestic sector and academics. On the other hand, for the international exchanges and cooperation, the base has established lots of academic exchange relations with Wisconsin (Madison) University, added California State University and several other U.S. universities, the University of Nottingham, London Metropolitan University, and some British universities, and the University of Bergen in Norway, University of Regina in Canada, Kurume University in Japan, Soka University, and many other foreign universities. Mr. Paul Heywood,the Dean of Graduate School of Nottingham University, and many other internationally renowned Independent Study academics have also been employed as adjunct professors of Hunan University.
