Academic Policy & Governance (APG) was formed on the 1 st of September 2022 and brings together what was previously the Senate Office, the Academic Collaborations Office and additional staff who work in support of the University's Learning & Teaching Strategy... APG's role is to oversee and develop effective and enabling academic policy, governance structures and processes across the University. This includes responsibility for Senate and its associated academic committee structure. This work plays a critical role in maintaining the standards of the University's academic awards and the quality of the student academic learning experience. APG also enables the implementation of the University's Learning & Teaching Strategy through provision of strategy support, particularly in the development of curriculum frameworks and higher-skills provision.
