SUNFIELD HOME SCHOOL

Our aim is to provide a "home-away-from-home" caring environment where intellectually impaired youngsters from the ages of 6 to 23 can learn and develop to their full potential... Sunfield Home School opened its doors in 1972 as a care facility for 20 children with special needs. The school was previously farmland owned by the well- known Armstrong family, stalwarts in the area just outside Durban. Prefab buildings were then installed and were later replaced by brick buildings. Day scholars also joined the school.
